My Favorite City
Shanghaiis my favourite city in China. It's the biggest cities in China with an area of 6,340square
kilometers and a population of 23.48 million. Moreover, Shanghai is the central city of our country.
It's the center of economy, technology, industry, finance and trade centre. Shanghai is also
an
emerging tourist city, with profound modern urban culture and many historical monuments. It has
successfully held the 2010 World Expo. It has become an international city with its high reputation in
the world. In my opinion, it looks like a highly motivated youth with courage, strong willpower and
ambition. I look forward to working in such an energetic city in the future.

Why Do I Learn English
With the rapid expansion of economy and society,English has an important influence of all over
the world.Facing with this situation,it is necessary for us to learn English.
Different people have
different reasons for why do they learn English .From my perspective,many aspects which support
me to learn English.First learning English is my responsibility during my learning life .english is my
compulsory course from primary school until now.Second,currently,the goliblized society
leads
everyone to learn English.For example,businessmen want to do business in foreign country.Knowing
something about English is the st but not the least,if I want to go abroad to gain different
culture and knowledge.Poor English skill will be barriers for me to learn well. No matter whatever
you do or wherever you go.You can not without English in the future.

A Chinese Festival
China with a long history which country has about 5000 year’s history.Festivals are symbols among Chinese culture and traditions.The Spring Festival has a special place in our Chinese heart. January 1st of lunar calendar is the date of the Spring Festival.There are different traditions from southerners and northerners.For one hand,northerners eat dumplings is indispensable but glue pudding is the necessary food in the south.New Year’s Eve,we put New Year’s scrolls on our door,it means we’ll be safe.Until the evening,all family members will be together to eat dinner no matter what
you do or where you e home to be together is necessary.We always say.“Have money or no money,go home for the Eve.”During the Spring Festival’s morning,we’ll get up very early to say:Happy New Year to our relatives.Setting firecrackers to expel bad luck out. In a word ,Spring Festival is a hope for every Chinese people for being together.
