在配合基础英语课教学的同时,其功能是强化学生的英语听说能力,在学习的过程中通过增进对英语国家文化的了解,也从一定意义上激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,增强交流能力和文化底蕴。
1.2设计思路本课程的总体设计思路是:以老师在课堂上教授为导向,以学生的自主练习为基础,按照课程的具体内容设计各学习环节,围绕培养学生的英语听说能力组织课程编排。
本课程通过学习和模拟多种场合的对话和交流,来逐渐的培养学生用英语进行日常的会话及交流,以满足毕业之后其英语职业能力方面的培养要求,从而达到理论与实践相结合,内容与应用相结合。
在具体的实际教学过程中,采取专门听力练习、情景模拟、口语表达训练等形式来组织教学,给学生提供丰富的展现自我机会。
建议本课程每学期课时为80学时,每学年为160学时,共分三学年完成。
2、课程目标通过对本课程中文化点滴(snapshot)、会话练习(conversation)、观点展示(perspectives)、语法重点(grammar focus)、词汇扩展(word power)、听力(listening)、口语活动(speaking activity)、阅读(reading)等模块的具体学习,训练和帮助学生掌握听懂及讲好英语,特别是相关的英语学习方法、技能与技巧,为能够胜任用英语从事外企的前台接待、办公室文员和文秘等工作打下扎实牢固的英语基础。
职业能力目标:★能够进行基础日常会话交流★能够准确发音,并流利朗读相关材料★能够听懂基本的会话及电话交流★能够用英语进行一般接待业务的口头交流3、课程内容和要求本课程计划每学年完成一册《剑桥国际英语教程》的学习,共分三册。
