I’ll help clean up the city parks适用年九年级级所需时课内共用4几课时，；课外共用1课时间主题单元学习概述本主题单元的标题是“I’ll help clean up the city parks.”，是新目标英语Go for it九年级第8单元.本单元的中心话题是运用将来时态谈论自己所将要进行的活动。

整个单元的内容是围绕用will和be going to表示将来展开的。

通过本单元的学习，使学生能够表达自己的计划，同时谈论自己所要参加的志愿活动，能够自荐或参加各种课外俱乐部，积极热心地向别人提供力所能及的帮助.并让学生在实践中学会和使用目标语，鼓励学生积极参加各种课外活动，培养学生的多方面才能及助人为乐的精神。

本单元的学习重点是用will和be going to来表示谈论未来及培养学生积极参加公益活动，帮助他人的良好品质。

本专题单元可以划分为三个专题：专题一：Talk about what you would like to do and why( using “wouldlike to”).专题二：The things you did to help others.专题三：Talk about what you will do when others are in trouble.专题一是帮助学生学会用英语谈论自己所希望从事的活动，重点是学会用英语表达意愿，为下一步学会用英语就实际的问题给出看法做好准备；专题二是让学生说一说自己做过哪些帮助别人的事情，从而为下一个专题进行铺垫。

专题三要求学生讨论一下当别人有困难的时候自己会怎样做。

学习方式：情境学习，问题学习，合作学习，探究学习。

预期的学习成果：学生学会较自由地运用英语谈论意愿并提供帮助，培养乐于助人的品质。
