Unit7 第1课时教学设计 一、板块介绍 本部分用了四个场景呈现了四个中国传统节日。场景一是Liu Tao一家过春节;场景二是Liu Tao, Su Hai, Su Yang, Mike四位小朋友吃粽子、看龙舟赛,一起过端午节;场景三是Yang Ling一家过中秋节;第四个场景是Su Hai一家在庆祝重阳节。节日的介绍主要围绕日期、活动和食物这三个方面展开。 二、教学目标 1. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写Double Ninth Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Spring Festival, a rice cake, dumplings, moon cakes, rice dumplings等。 2. 能听懂、会说、会读Story time中的故事。 3. 句型:The ... Festival is in ... or … 三、教学重难点 1. 词汇:Double Ninth Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Spring Festival, a rice cake, dumplings, moon cakes, rice dumplings 2. 句型:The ... Festival is in ... or … 四、教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up/Lead-in 1. 看图片,导入节日话题 教师利用多媒体展示一些有关中国传统节日的图片,让学生观察人们的庆祝方式并感受节日气氛,同时介绍单词festival。教师可以设计若干问题引导学生思考。如: • What are these pictures about? • What are people doing? • What are they eating/cooking/making? • Can you tell the season? 2. 复习圣诞节 教师可以展示一些有关庆祝圣诞节的图片或视频,然后和学生进行问答活动,复习关于圣诞节的语言知识,从而引出本单元的句型。如: T: What do you know about Christmas? In which season does it come? S1: It comes in winter. T: Is it a Chinese holiday? S2: No, it isn’t. T: Right. It’s a Western holiday. What do Western people do at this holiday? S3: They buy a Christmas tree. S4: They give presents to each other. T: What do children do at Christmas? S5: They go to see Father Christmas. S6: They put a stocking at their beds. T: What food do they eat? S7: They eat turkey and Christmas pudding. T: Do you know any Chinese festivals? … Step 2: Presentation & Practice Story time 1. 利用图片,教授目标节日词汇 教师呈现春节、端午节、中秋节和重阳节的单词卡片,要求学生仔细观察图片和 词组的构成,猜测Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival和 Double Ninth Festival意思。教师提示学生根据spring, boat, autumn, ninth猜测词义,同时提醒他们注意这些表示节日的词语在使用时前面要加上定冠词the。为了方便学生记忆和掌握,教师可以要求学生将冠词作为这些节日词语的一部分,一起牢记。 2. 猜谜游戏,教授目标食物词汇 在学生理解了目标节日词汇后,教师可以采用猜谜的形式介绍四个食物词汇。教师可先将饺子、粽子、月饼和重阳糕的图片呈现在黑板上,然后描述这些食物,让学生指出相应的图片。如: T: They’re small. They’re made of flour, fruit and nuts. We eat them at the Mid-Autumn Festival. What are they? … T: They’re made of rice. We wrap the rice in leaves. We eat them at the Dragon Boat Festival. What are they? 3. 问答活动,教授有关月份的词汇教师可以从春节和中秋节切人,介绍这四个节日所在的季节,然后介绍月份。教师可以同时复习星期类的词汇。如: T: How many seasons are there in a year? Ss: There are four seasons. T: What are they? Ss: They’re spring, summer, autumn and winter. T: Does the Spring Festival come in spring? Ss: No, it doesn’t. T: In which season does it come? S1: It comes in winter. T: You’re right. Does the Mid-Autumn Festival come in autumn? Ss: Yes, it does. T: What about the Dragon Boat Festival and the Double Ninth Festival? In which season do they come? S2: The Dragon Boat Festival comes in summer. S3: The Double Ninth Festival comes in autumn. T: (板书month) Now, let’s talk about months. Do you remember the week days? There are seven days in a week. What are they? Ss: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. T: Great! Seven days make a week. Thirty or thirty-one days make a month. There are twelve months in a year. Let’s see what they are. (教师用多媒体呈现一张包括十二个月份的日历) 4. 小组活动,确定节日所在的月份 教师安排学生两人一组,完成学生用书第70页的Read and write,写出四个节日所在的月份。教师要提醒学生注意,这四个中国的传统节日是按照农历日期设置的,其公历日期并不固定。教师可以拓展介绍Children’s Day, Teachers’ Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, New Year’s Day, the Qingming Festival, Labour Day, National Day等节日,让学生分别找出这些节日所在的月份,并做口头描述。 5. 听课文录音,排序图片 教师呈现课文的四幅图片,并打乱顺序,然后播放课文录音,要求学生按照所听内容的先后顺序,排列图片。 6. 阅读课文,检测理解 教师安排学生独立阅读课文,然后完成学生用书第70页的Look and match。教师也可设计信息表格,要求学生填写,以检测他们对课文内容的概括能力。教师可以灵活运用此信息表格,和学生进行问答活动,以操练两个句型。如: Festival Month Food Activity The Spring Festival January or February dumplings get together with families
