In the present-day society, it can be noticed that the expense of a
wedding is much higher than ever before. An increasing number of young
couples find it difficult to afford such a huge cost. As a result, this
issue calls for the close attention of the whole society.

Some argue that it is absolutely necessary for young couples to hold
an expensive wedding ceremony as they wish. In their eyes, without such
a ceremony, it is impossible for the newly-married couples, as well as
their families, to enjoy the happiness. They go on to point out that a
bigger ceremony will bring them benefits to strengthen friendship with
acquaintances.

Others, however, regard it differently. First, they claim that a
costly wedding may impair or undermine young couples’ current finance
and its promising future. Then, holding expensive weddings set bad
examples to others, leading them to waste time, energy and money.

Who is right? I think there is something right in both arguments.
However, what convinces me is that new wives and husbands should share
their happiness with friends firstly. Then, they are also highly expected
to save as possible as they can.
话题2：动物话题

In the contemporary society, it can be seen that animals serve more
functions in our daily life. Typical examples are: in daily life, animals
provide mankind with food, fur and a variety of entertainments by showing
their performance; in scientific research, animals are widely used in
experiments of various medicine developments.

Others hold a different view that exploiting (利用)animals for human
purposes carries some doubts. In their eyes, animals, as friends of humans,
should be treated friendly. Killing or using animals is not moral and will
impair(损害，危害) the coexistence of men and animals. In addition, they
argue that using animals for scientific research sets bad examples to
children, leading them to abuse(虐待) animals.

I, as well as many others, am convinced that there is something right
in both arguments. However, what firstly convinces me is that exploiting
animals appropriately is necessary, because it is impossible for us to
use humans in labs. Then, humans are also highly hoped to reduce the pains
which animals suffer in performances or scientific researches.

Living in an era (时代）of high competition, individuals are
confronted with （面临着）a variety of pressures. Typical examples are:
in work, we shoulder the stress of efficiency and promotion; in daily life,
we strike to pay for the accelerating expense of life;

Some argue that it is absolutely necessary for people in the
present-day society to have stress or pressures. In their eyes, without
any stress, it is impossible for them to gain motivation and to enhance
their efficiency. In addition, they claim the various pressures will
definitely promote the advancement of the society as whole, which
otherwise would be impossible. Even so（即使这样的话）, others hold a
different view that stress carries some risks. They point out that too
many pressures in life or work may impair one’s physical health and
psychological fitness. Besides, it is too much stress that exerts negative
impacts on the efficiency.

I, as well as many others, am convinced that it is of great
importance to have due stress or pressures in life or woke. However, people
are also highly expected to figure out ways to deal with the situation
in which life is too stressful. (189 words)
