专题四形容词、副词一、概念什么是形容词？形容词：是词类的一种，主要用来描写或修饰名词或代词，表示人或事物的性质、状态、特征或属性，常用作定语，也可作表语或补语。
它的位置通常放在被修饰的名词前，也可以放在 be 动词和 look、 feel、 taste、 sound、 get 之后。
比如： The blue dog saved the day. 蓝狗挽救了局面。
（形容词 blue 修饰名词 dog）I feel so sad today. 我今日感到很难过。
（形容词 sad 置于感官动词 feel 之后）什么是副词？副词：是指在句子中表示行为或状态特征的词，用以修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或全句，表示时间、地点、程度、方式等概念。
比如：Listen to me carefully. 认真听我说。
（副词 carefully 修饰动词 listen）She usually gets up at six every morning. 她通常每天早上六点起床。
（usually 为频度副词）二、形容词（副词）的比较级、最高级在英语中，形容词（副词）有三个等级，即原级、比较级和最高级。
1. 表示两者“等同” 时用原级，结构为： as+原级+as，表示“……和……一样……”。
如： Are you as tall as your twin sister? 你和你的双胞胎妹妹一样高吗？其否定形式结构为： not+as+原级+as，表示“……在……方面不如……”。
如： I蒺m not as tall as you. 我不如你高。
2. 表示两者“比较” 时用比较级，结构为：比较级+than，表示“……比……更……”。
如： He is one year younger than me. 他年龄比我小一岁。
3. 三个或三个以上的人或物进行比较，用形容词最高级，结构为： the+形容词最高级+in/of 等表示范围的短语，表示“最……”。

一．形容词和副词的区别1. 形容词修饰名词或代词，说明事物或人的性质或特征。
A beautiful girl, good friends, a great idea形容词一般放在名词前面,起修饰作用,但是如果是修饰不定代词something, anything等等的话,要放在不定代词之后；如something important2. 副词通常修饰动词，形容词. Run fast, speak loudly副词通常是以—ly结尾，但也有少数形容词以ly结尾，如friendly, lovely, ugly二．形容词变副词的规则1. 一般在形容词词尾直接加-ly。
如:real-really; slow-slowly; quick-quickly;quiet-quietly2. 以辅音字母加y结尾，改变y为i,然后再加-ly。
如:busy-busily; angry-angrily; easy-easily3. 少数以不发音e结尾的形容词，要去掉e再加-ly。
例如：terrible-terribly;true-truly; gentle-gently但绝大多数以e结尾的形容词仍然直接加-ly。
例如：polite-politely, wide-widely等。
