英语数字训练表

数字英汉转化的难点在于英、汉数字的数量级不统一。请看汉、英数量级对照表：

ten million hundred million billion ten billion hundred billion trillion

考生应当把这张对照表印在脑海中，对基本数量级的汉、英转换做到脱口而出。

通过这张对照表，我们可以得出，汉语数字的习惯表达是四位一分段，而英语数字是三位一分段的。比如1234567890这个数字，英语表达是从右到左三位一点，记作1,234,567,890，从右到左第一个逗号的数量级是thousand，第二个是million，第三个是billion。而汉语表达的时候则看作12 3456 7890，从右到左第一空的数量级是万，第二个是亿。

在听力中考试中，考生做的是英到汉的转化。建议大家先把发音记录下来，再翻译成汉语数字。比如，听到的数字是thirty billion two hundred million one hundred thousand and five，可以根据发音记录为30b200m100s5，因为是三位一分段，其中个位数要补两个零，即转化成30,200,100,005。最后再四位一段，302 0010 0005翻译成汉语就不难了，是三百零二亿零十万零五。

刚才列举的是自然数的表达。小数、分数的表达，也请大家注意。听到zero point two，相信你能反应出是0.2，那么听到nought point two，你是否能第一时间做出反应呢？bottom tenth指的是最底层的十分之一。one out of three, one in every three是one-third的同义表达。
