二、教学对象分析学生在八年级上册中就已经学习了形容词的比较级和最高级，实际上本单元应属于复习巩固，但这一语法项目对学生来说是一个重点，也是难点，应用起来比较容易出错。

而且在上册学习时，知识非常简单基础的用法，本单元对最高级的几种应用结构加以训练，是知识上的延伸，学生在已有的基础上学起来不会太吃力。

本节课是阅读课，要求学生会提炼、概括信息，这一点学生可能会感到困难，同时要求学生在学完后，要树立不畏艰险，勇于挑战的精神，从而帮助他们树立正确的人生观、价值观。
