其核心价值理念“仁、和、精、诚”体现了医术与医德的统一，是医学职业精神的真实写照，是医德教育的文化本源；思维方法是历代医者长期实践经验积累的宝贵结晶，是极富生命力的认识论和方法论。

高校医德教育当以中医药文化为根源，将核心价值理念贯穿医德教育始终；以中医学“整体观”思想为方法，将医德教育看作整体，分阶段、有侧重进行系统化设计，构建核心理念一基本方法一实现途径三维医德教育模式。

将中医药文化与医德教育相结合，充分发挥中医药文化的德育功能，提升医学生医德教育实效,是高校医德教育的必要路径和重要内容。
