My Opinion on Campus Disciplines
In recent years, with higher and higher admission rate, more and more students make their dream of receiving higher education come true. But here comes the problem that there is an disagreement between students and universities who place strict disciplines on students. For students who expect the life in campus would leave them high degree of freedom, dispointedly, find that the disciplines restrict them in a state of a high school student. However, in my opinion, strict campus disciplines are benificial to universities, students and the society.
A set of campus discplines could make it easier for the management sector in universities to regulate the behavior of students and make sure of a good study environment for students, which is one of the basic responsibilities of every university. It can be seen that the increasing number of recruitment puts great pressure on the effectiveness of university management, and strict disciplines can relief them to some extend.
For students, strict disciplines is also good for their study in campus and their future career. As it could be foreseen, in a class, without strict disciplines, there would be students disturb others with their misconductions from time to time, such as eatting, making noises or being late from class freely, which makes it difficult for students to concentrate on the class. What is more, speaking of graduates' future career, a graduate who was used to the restrictless life in campus tends to be fired for their misbehaviors in the company.
A lack of strict disciplines on students in campus can also be harmful for the whole soceity. Without disciplines, they may regard freedom as the principle that they can do anything as they like, while this is definetely wrong. Seriously, such misconception could develop them into those who regardless the law and order to achieve what they wannt and lead them to the road of misconduction in soceity. This certainly threatens the stability of the whole society.
In short, some students may argue that such disciplines may be too strict, but without these disciplines, the result is that the effectiveness of school management, the success of students and even the stability of the whole society would be threatened. Therefor, a set of strict disciplines is undoubtedly dispensable for the benifit of universities, students and the society.。
