北海公园的英文介绍作文小学英语全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Beihai Park: A Wonderland in the Heart of BeijingHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grader at Beijing Primary School. Today I want to tell you all about one of my absolute favorite places in this big, bustling city - Beihai Park! It's like a secret garden right in the middle of Beijing that transports you to another world.Beihai Park covers a huge area of over 170 acres and it's located just northwest of the Forbidden City. You can get there by taking the subway to lines 4 or 6 and getting off at Beihai North or Beihai West stations. As soon as you step through the grand entrance gates, you'll be greeted by lush gardens, winding paths, ancient temples, and beautiful lakes. The first thing you'll probably notice is the gigantic Beihai Lake right in the center of the park. It's honestly more like a small sea than a lake - the water stretches out as far as the eye can see! The lake gets its name, which means "Northern Sea", from being the largest of the three lakes inside Beihai Park. You can rent aboat and row around the lake, soaking in the peaceful vibes. Just be careful not to rock the boat too much - you don't want to end up all wet!My favorite part of the park has to be Qionghua Island. This is a little island right in the middle of Beihai Lake that you can reach by crossing one of the ornate bridges. On the island, there's the gorgeous Qionghua Pavilion which was built way back in 1189 during the Jin Dynasty. The pavilion is made entirely out of gleaming white stone and marble in the most intricate carvings of dragons, flowers, and waves. It's like something out of a fantasy storybook! You can climb up to the top level for an incredible panoramic view over the whole park.Another super cool area is Jade Flower Island, which is the largest of Beihai's three islands. This island has beautiful gardens filled with peony flowers, willow trees gently swaying in the breeze, and zigzagging bridges arching over bubbling streams. As you're strolling through the gardens, you might stumble across fascinating old ruins like the Nine Dragon Carved Wall. This huge marble wall is intricately engraved with a giant coiling dragon sculpture along with 635 smaller fierce dragon carvings! It's mesmerizing to see the incredible craftsmanship up close.I also really enjoy visiting the Circular City View Hill near the northeastern part of the park. You have to climb up a tall artificial hill, but once you reach the top you're rewarded with breathtaking views overlooking Beihai Lake and all of Beijing's skyscrapers and rooftops in the distance. The hill is like a small mountain with a winding path circling all the way up to the peak. It's a tough climb for little legs like mine, but totally worth it when you reach that stunning panoramic viewpoint! You'll find tons of other fascinating sights scattered throughout Beihai Park as you explore. There are historic landmarks like the Furen Convent, which was a Buddhist temple converted into an imperial palace during the Yuan Dynasty. You can tour the tranquil courtyards surrounded by traditional architecture with upturned eaves and vermilion pillars. Or you can seek out the Nine Dragon Screen, an intricately carved longstone screen depicting - you guessed it - nine ferocious dragons twisting and turning.Beihai Park isn't just about the incredible historical sites, though. It's also an amazing place to enjoy nature and have fun! Huge willow trees drape their long branches over the lakes, providing plenty of shady spots for a picnic. Lush gardens burst with vibrant peonies, orchids, chrysanthemums and othercolorful blooms depending on the season. And there are wide open grassy areas that are perfect for running around, flying a kite, or attempting a handstand (I definitely can't do a handstand yet).During the summer, the park hosts lots of fun activities and performances too. You might catch a team of older folks doing a graceful fan dance or practicing tai chi in unison at sunrise. Colorful kites in the shapes of animals and heroes from Chinese legends soar overhead. And wandering performers will put on shows like breathtaking feats of martial arts and acrobatics.I could go on and on about Beihai Park all day! There's just so much to explore and discover inside this amazing oasis in the middle of Beijing. Palaces, temples, gardens, islands, lakes, hills - it's like an entire world contained within those ancient walls. Every time I visit, I feel like I've traveled back in time to the days of Chinese dynasties and imperial royalty.Beihai Park truly is one of Beijing's most treasured gems. It seamlessly blends natural scenery, historical splendor, recreation and serenity all into one magical place. I'm so lucky to have this wonderland right in my own city! If you ever visit Beijing, put Beihai Park at the very top of your must-see list. Just don't forgetto wear your walking shoes - this place is huuuuuge and you'll want to see every last inch. Happy exploring!篇2Beihai Park - A Wonderful Place to Visit!Beihai Park is a huge park in central Beijing, China. It's one of the most amazing places I've ever been! Last weekend, my family and I went to visit Beihai Park and we had the best time ever. Let me tell you all about our adventure!First of all, Beihai Park is absolutely enormous! It covers about 171 acres, which is bigger than 120 football fields put together. That means there is so much to explore - gardens, pavilions, lakes, bridges, and more. We spent the whole day there but I don't think we even saw half of everything. One of the first things we saw when we entered the park was the massive Kunming Lake. This giant lake takes up over half of the park's area! The water was so clear and pretty. There were lots of people boating on the lake, which looked really fun. I wished I could have a turn too.Next, we walked over to Qionghua Island, which is smack in the middle of Kunming Lake. To get there, we crossed over theJade Flower Bridge. That bridge was beautiful, all decorated with cool dragon carvings and designs. On Qionghua Island, we saw the Qionghua Palace and gardens. The palace used to be where emperors lived and held ceremonies a long time ago. It had the most amazing painted roofs! After the island, we explored the Circular City, which used to be part of the imperial palace grounds. The Circular City had old city walls with pretty watchtowers and gates. Inside, there were historic buildings, gardens, and even a Nine Dragon Screen made of glazed tiles. The screen was built in 1756 and it showed nine fierce dragons! I've never seen anything like it.One of my favorite parts of Beihai Park was the Baroque Gardens and pavilions along the lakeshore. The gardens had amazing landscaping with rocks, trees, bushes and flowers arranged in artistic designs. And the pavilions like the Bright Pavilion looked like tiny, elaborate temples perched over the water. So gorgeous!Throughout Beihai Park, we saw lots of other cool sights too. There were old temples, theaters, huge fancy archways, and even a Pigeon House where thousands of pigeons lived. Everything was decorated with intricate sculptures, carvings, glazed tiles, and traditional Chinese designs. It was all breathtakingly beautiful. My legs got pretty tired from walking around the massive park all day. But I didn't even mind because there was just so much amazing stuff to see! Beihai Park felt like stepping back in time to ancient China. I learned a ton about history and culture, more than any classroom could ever teach. If you ever go to Beijing, you absolutely have to visit Beihai Park. It's an incredible place packed with natural scenery like lakes and gardens, combined with centuries of Chinese architecture and imperial history. You could spend weeks there and still be discovering new things. I can't wait to go back again!篇3A Fun Day at Beihai ParkHi friends! I want to tell you all about a really fun place I visited recently called Beihai Park. It's a huge park right in the middle of Beijing, the capital city of China. My family and I spent a whole day exploring Beihai Park and it was awesome! Let me tell you all about it.First of all, Beihai Park is super old - it was built way back in the 11th century! Can you believe a park could be almost 1000 years old? It used to be an imperial garden where only emperors and their families could go. But now it's open to everyone and we're so lucky we can visit. When we first arrived, I was amazed at how big it is - it covers over 170 acres! That's like 70 football fields put together. The park has lots of pretty gardens, ancient buildings, and even a huge lake called Beihai (which means "Northern Sea"). We started by walking along the lake and I saw so many cool things. There were beautiful bridges arching over the water, including a zig-zag bridge and one with nine curves. My little brother tried to count all the curves but he lost track after five. We also saw lots of interesting boats on the lake, including wooden tour boats that look just like they did hundreds of years ago! I wished I could ride in one of those old boats. As we walked further, we came across the Qionghua Islet, which is a tiny island right in the middle of the lake. To get there, you have to cross a bridge with bigger-than-life stone lion and elephant sculptures guarding it. On the island, there's the Baihua Yuan or "Garden of Bright Flowers" with gorgeous flowerseverywhere you look. My favorite was the lotus flowers floating on the little ponds. After exploring the island, we walked over to Tuanhe Pavilion, which is this tall building right on the edge of the lake. It was built in the 1700s and you can climb up and get an amazing view of the whole park from the top!Another really cool area we visited was the Circular City View Hill. It's a huge manmade hill in the park that's 40 meters high and over 300 meters around. My dad said we should climb to the top, and I'm sure glad we did! From up there, you can see the entire park laid out in front of you. You can even see parts of the Forbidden City in the distance! Everything looked so tiny from up high. Going back down the winding paths was a little harder than going up though.By that time, we were all getting pretty hungry. Good thing there are lots of restaurants and food stalls inside the park! We had some delicious jianbing, which are these big crepe-like things stuffed with eggs, vegetables, sauces and meat. They were so yummy and filling. We also tried some candied hawthorn fruit on a stick which was very sweet and fruity. After eating, we wandered around a bit more and found the Jade Flower Islet. This one had a bunch of old buildings liketemples and pavilions. We went inside the Huale Temple which had the most amazing painted roof with dragons and phoenixes all over it. So colorful and detailed! Outside, there was a pretty garden area with bamboo groves, rock sculptures and ponds with koi fish swimming around.I also really liked walking through the Painted Sculpture Gallery. It had all these old stone animal sculptures that looked so realistic. Like there were rabbits, monkeys, elephants and mythical beasts too! My brother and I tried to imitate the different animal poses and sounds which made my parents laugh. As the day started to get later, the crowds got smaller and it was more peaceful just wandering around the pathways under the willow trees. We even saw a staraplay where kids were singing and dancing on a little stage! I told my mom I wanted to join next time. Finally though, we had to start heading home. We were exhausted from walking around all day but it was totally worth it. Beihai Park was just so much fun to explore with all its gardens, temples, hills and beautiful lake views. It felt like we had traveled back in time to ancient China.I'm so glad we live in Beijing where we can revisit Beihai Park again and again. Next time I want to rent a boat so we can row around the lake. And I'll definitely bring my roller blades so I can skate around on the smooth walkways. Beihai Park is an amazing place with something new to discover every time you go. I can't wait for my next adventure there!篇4Beihai Park: A Wonderful Place to ExploreDo you love spending time outdoors and exploring new places? If yes, then you must visit Beihai Park! Today, I want to take you on a journey to one of my favorite places in the whole world – Beihai Park! This amazing park is right in the heart of Beijing, and it's like a magical wonderland filled with incredible sights, sounds, and adventures.First things first, let me tell you about the history of this incredible park. Beihai Park was built way back in the 11th century during the Liao Dynasty. Can you believe it? That's over a thousand years ago! It was originally a imperial garden for theroyal families to enjoy. Nowadays, it's open to everyone, and it's a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. One of the coolest things about Beihai Park is its beautiful lakes. The park is named after the "Beihai" or "Northern Sea," which is a massive lake that takes up a huge part of the park. There's also the "Zhonghai" or "Central Sea" lake, and the "Nanhai" or "Southern Sea" lake. These lakes are so pretty, especially when the sun is shining and reflecting off the water. But you know what's even more amazing than the lakes? The islands! That's right, there are actual islands inside Beihai Park. The most famous one is called Qionghua Island, and it's in the middle of the Kunming Lake. You can take a boat ride to get there, and it's like stepping into a whole different world. There are beautiful gardens, temples, and even a fancy restaurant on the island.Speaking of gardens, Beihai Park is full of them! My favorite is the Jingxin Garden, which is a traditional Chinese garden with winding paths, pavilions, and a little stream running through it. It's like something out of a fairy tale! There's also the Beihai Garden, which has all sorts of cool rock formations and a beautiful covered walkway called the "Long Corridor."But wait, there's more! Beihai Park is also home to some incredible ancient buildings and structures. The Circular City View Hill is a man-made hill that you can climb to get a panoramic view of the entire park. And the White Dagoba is a massive white stupa (a Buddhist monument) that's over 1,000 years old! It's so tall and impressive, and it's one of the most famous landmarks in the park.Of course, no visit to Beihai Park would be complete without trying out some of the fun activities. You can rent a boat and paddle around the lakes, or you can even try your hand at traditional Chinese pastimes like playing chess or practicing calligraphy. There are also lots of cool shops and restaurants where you can buy souvenirs or grab a tasty snack. But my absolute favorite thing to do in Beihai Park is just to wander around and explore. Every time I visit, I discover something new – a hidden courtyard, a beautiful flower garden, or a friendly squirrel or bird. It's like a never-ending adventure!I could go on and on about Beihai Park, but I think you get the idea. It's an incredible place that combines history, culture, nature, and fun all in one amazing package. Pack a picnic lunch, put on your walking shoes, and get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey through this magical wonderland. Trust me, you won't regret it!篇6My Favorite Park: Beihai ParkHi everyone! Today I want to tell you all about my favorite park in Beijing - Beihai Park. It's a really cool and beautiful place that I love visiting with my family and friends.Beihai Park is located right in the center of Beijing, next to the Forbidden City. It's an ancient imperial garden that used to belong to the emperors and their families a long time ago. The park covers a huge area of over 170 acres! That means it has a lot of awesome stuff to see and do.One of my favorite parts of the park is the huge lake called Beihai ("North Sea"). It takes up over half of the park's space! The lake is really pretty, with willow trees hanging down over the water. You can even rent a little boat and row around on the lake if you want. My brother and I did that once and got all wet from splashing each other with the oars!In the middle of Beihai Lake there is a cool island called Qionghua Island. It has beautiful gardens with rockeries, pavilions, and temples on it. To get to the island, you have to cross over a bridge with a funny name - the Jade Flower Bridge. I like going over to Qionghua Island to explore and take pictures of the neat buildings.Another awesome part of Beihai Park is Beihai White Pagoda. It's this tall stone tower that's over 40 meters high and has 9 stories! The pagoda is called "White" because it used to be covered in bright white stone tiles. Now the tiles are a little faded but the tower is still so impressive. You can even climb up inside to the top and see amazing views over Beijing. One thing I really love about Beihai Park is all the historic sites and buildings from ancient China. Besides the island and pagoda, there are also temples, gardens, and palaces scattered around. The Circular City View Hill is a large hill in the park with a cool lookout tower on top where you can see 360 degree views of Beijing. Then there's the Jingxin Study Room, which is like a little school building where kids used to learn about things like calligraphy and painting. My little sister's favorite area is the Nine Dragon Screen made of bright yellow glazed tiles. It's this huge long wall withcarvings of nine different dragons, which is really awesome looking. Apparently in the old days, only the emperor was allowed to use the dragon symbol, so this screen must've been really important and special.Probably the oldest part of Beihai Park is the Imperial College, which dates back over 700 years! It was a university during the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties where scholars came to study. Today the old school buildings with their pretty gardens are still there for people to visit. As you can probably tell, Beihai Park has tons of amazing historical stuff left over from imperial China. But it's not just about old buildings! There are lots of fun activities too. In the wintertime, part of Beihai Lake freezes over into a huge skating rink. My friends and I love coming to ice skate, drink hot chocolate, and play in the snow.In the summer though, my favorite activity is definitely renting a little boat to pedal around on the lake. The warm weather is perfect for being out on the water. Sometimes performers will put on shows right on the lake like sword fights or dances. Once I even saw someone doing stunts and flips off a platform into the water! Other summer activities at the parkinclude cycling around on rented bikes or just having a picnic with your family. No matter what season it is, Beihai Park always has beautiful gardens and plants to admire. There are gardens specifically for peonies, roses, azaleas and all sorts of other flowers. Wandering around looking at all the colorful blossoms is my mom's favorite thing. And let's not forget about the huge old trees everywhere, some of which are hundreds of years old! The ancient cypresses and ginkgos make the park feel like a peaceful, shady forest in the middle of Beijing. One last really awesome area I haven't mentioned yet is the Candlestick Park inside Beihai Park. It's got replicas of some of China's most famous stone carvings positioned around a lake. Things like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda from Xi'an and the Leshan Giant Buddha statue are recreated here as miniature models. I always feel like a giant walking around Candlestick Park!As you can probably tell by now, I absolutely love Beihai Park. It combines beautiful nature with fascinating history and culture. Getting to walk around and learn about ancient imperial China while also having fun is the best! Every time my family visits, I discover some new amazing place or fact about the park.Whether you want to go boating, see historic sites, visit gardens, go ice skating, or just find a shady spot to have a picnic, Beihai Park has it all. It's right in the heart of Beijing but feels like escaping into a whole different world. I'm so lucky to have such an incredible imperial garden right in my city to explore. Beihai Park will always be one of my favorite places!。

Shanxi Province. The other one is in the Forbidden City. The one in Beihai park is the
best one because it is the only one in China that nine dragons were built on double

temple was destroyed and only the screen has remained.
Iron Screen Wall(铁影壁)
This wall is actually a piece of artwork carved from lapillus, but as the brown color
looks like the color of iron, people named it “Iron Screen Wall”. It is a masterpiece of
Yuan Dynasty and was finally moved to Beihai Park as a decoration. Nowadays in
Beijing, there are a lot of carving sculptures made in Ming and Qing Dynasty, but
rarely can we find one made in Yuan Dynasty. So the Iron screen wall has great
artistic value.
