Who can tell me some types of TV programmes? 鼓励学生踊跃回答。 引导学生讨论他们最喜欢的电视节目，教师问：when do you watch TV every day ?what is your favourite TV progammes ? Why ? Do you know what your parents’ favourite TV progammes? 鼓励学生根据自己的实际情况回答。 Step2.While-reading If you want to find out when a TV progamme will be shown and what’s it about , what can you do ? 引导学生说出：I can read a TV guide . 教师接着说：Millie is reading a TV guide on TV online .A TV guide gives you information about different TV progammes . 板书TV guide . 教师播放第一个节目Sports world 的录音，然后问学生：Is the weekly round-up in sport all about basketball? 引导学生回答完整的句子：No ,it covers different sports . 教师领读这一部分，学生跟读。可以让想要收看此节目的学生举手以统计。教师板书round-up、fan、a number of 、 coming , 帮助学生理解意思，然后学生集体朗读这一部分。 教师继续问学生：Do you like music ? Have you ever seen any music programmes ? Do you like watching music awards ? what other awards do you know ? 能力比较强的学生介绍所看过的或知道的颁奖节目。教师也可以展示颁奖节目图片，如：金鸡百花奖，香港电影金像奖等。 教师播放 第二个节目Beijing music Awards的录音，然后问学生：How many fans have voted online for their favourite songs, singers , and music videos? 引导学生回答：about 300,000. 教师板书cover、live、Asian 、vote 、 music videos、announce 、text messages. 帮助学生理解意思，然后学生集体朗读这一部分。 教师说：Do you like horror films ?板书：horror .播放第三个节目Murderer in a country house 金戈铁骑

Success comes to those who are willing to risk making mistakes to achieve their goals and wishes, and who are able to learn from those mistakes. And in order to learn from mistakes you must be willing to pay for them. Mistakes can be very valuable, but when you try to get others to pay for your mistakes, then you lose the chance to learn from them.
