2. 历史上英国的航海业一度称霸世界, 环海的天然优势 成就了十分发达的捕鱼业, 因而, 大量与fish 有关的习 语相继产生。如: big fish (大亨), dull fish(枯燥无味的人), make fish of one and flesh of another喻厚此薄彼, 偏爱一方。

二、地理原因
