读写任务

Hi, everyone, I am Tom Lee, your English teacher. We have been together for three
years, and I think you must have lots of wonderful memories here. So today our topic
is "Friendship among us".Sometimes in our life, you need to find a special friend,
someone who changes your life just by being a part of it, someone who makes you laugh
until you can't stop, someone who makes you believe that there really is good in
the world, and someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just
waiting for you to open it. This is forever friendship. When you're down and the
world seems dark and empty, your forever friend lifts you up in spirits and makes
that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full. Your forever friend gets
you through the hard times, the sad times and the confused times. If you turn and
walk away, your forever friend follows. If you lose your way, your forever friend
guides you and cheers you on. Your forever friend holds your hand and tells you that
everything is going to be okay. And if you find such a friend, you feel happy and
complete because you need not worry. You have a forever friend, and forever has no
end.
So, friendship is great, I do hope that you all remember everything has
happened here!

Little Sichuan Hero-Lin Hao
For those who watched the China Olympic 2008 opening ceremony would have noticed
there was a little boy walking beside Yao Ming with 2 little flags in hand, and might
wonder who the boy was. He is Lin Hao, a 9-year-old brave boy. During the Sichuan
Earthquake he was trapped under the rubbles (瓦砾堆)and managed to come out on his
own. Instead of going to a safe place he went back to the rubbles and carried 2 of
his classmates out in spite of the injury on his own head. And he also sang songs
to calm down the crying girl who was then trapped inside. He was so calm and mature, full of confidence in life after the big earthquake.
When the journalist asked him why he tried to save his classmates without any
hesitation, he replied," Our teacher always inspired us to have confidence and hope.
I am the monitor, and if the class had no students, what is this class monitor for?"
He loves school, and over a CCTV program he asked the audience to donate money
to rebuild their school so that all his classmates could go back to school again.
Obviously, as is shown in this story, Lin Hao like other people in Sichuan didn't
fall down faced with such a great catastrophe. He is really a little hero.

Teenagers' secrets should be kept to themselves and no one else, their parents
included, has the right to stick their nose into their private life. As we know,
teenagers are going through a special period of development both physically and
psychologically. They are curious about and puzzled by the unexpected changes in
their body and mind. What's more, exposed to a world of adults, it is only too natural
fo them to begin imitating adults' behavior secretly. Boys begin to smoke and girls
begin to spend time doing their hair and care more about what to wear. Some even
begin to date with a girlfriend or boyfriend without letting their parents know.
They are doing all this in secret because they are still unsure whether it is right
to do so and afraid that, if found out by their parents, they will get misunderstood
