牛津英语新教材中Project的教学探索——以Module 7 Unit 1的Project为例随着普通高中新课程标准的实施, 从2005年开始,江苏省普通高中普遍使用牛津高中英语课本。
该教材的使用是英语教学领域的一场变革,要求学生转变学习方式,教师转变教学观念和教材观念。

选取的教学素材丰富多样,涉及到各个领域,通过对教材的学习可以丰富学生的知识,帮助学生了解更多的英语学习方法。
Project 是一种开放性的探究学习活动,学生在老师的指导下,通过小组协作完成他们自己选定的课题,目的是让学生在学中做、做中学,把学到的知识以多样的表现形式输出,从而切实提高学生的英语综合运用能力。
二、现行Project教学中存在的问题与改进对策1. 教学和教材观念陈旧新课标和新教材呼唤教师在教学中转变思想,与时俱进。
但不少教师仍愿意“穿新鞋,走老路”,认为不管教材怎么变,只要抓住词汇记忆、课文讲解和语法练习就可以高枕无忧。
因此很多教师对Project的处理仍作为阅读课,以为讲讲所涉及的词汇句式和语法就可以了。
这样做也许省时省力,学生的考试分数也不会受影响,但却忽略了真正能体现新课标思想的精髓,无异于买椟还珠。
Project板块是新教材改革的亮点,它为教师和学生提供了充分的发挥空间,而Project也应真正面向全体学生,教师提供素材,学生基于自身兴趣选择主题,从而激发每个学生学习英语的兴趣。
这样才能充分挖掘学生的创造性和发挥他们的主观能动性,真正把Project的教学变成学生施展智慧、展现才能的舞台。
