信不信由你,没有什么标准英语。
1) believe it or not表示“信不信由你”，该句用来引出让人惊讶的事情，其字面意义和用法都与中文“信不信由你”一致。
（用于口语中，相当于插入语）。
例如：Believe it or not, he asked me to tell you a lie!信不信由你，他要我向你说谎！Believe it or not, I didn't get into trouble for being late for class today.信不信由你，我今天上课迟到了，但没受罚。
Believe it or not, I'm going to America tomorrow!信不信由你，我明天就要去美国了。
【拓展联想】可用作插入语的某些不定式短语，常见的还有：to tell the truth 老实说to sa y nothing of … 更不用说……to be honest 老实地说to be frank 坦率地说to be exact确切地说judging from; 依据---判断；（句首常见）generally speaking; 一般说来（句首常见）frankly speaking坦白地说to make matters worse更糟糕的是【学以致用】Stop blaming yourself when things go wrong at work．_________，blaming yourself makes you more likely to catch a cold!A．As a result B．To make the matter worseC．If so D．Believe it or not答案：D。

当在工作中出错时，别责备自己。
信不信由你，责备自己会使你更象得感冒!2) such...as用于引导定语从句。
as 是关系代词，引导定语从句，在从句中作宾语。
例如：This is such a difficult problem as all of us can't work out. 这是一个难题我们所有的人都不能算出。
I’ve never heard such stories as he tells. 我从未听过他讲那样的故事。
【知识拓展】such...that的意思是“如此……以至于……”，that是连词，引导的是结果状语从句。
在这一结构中，that不能引导定语从句。
such后可直接跟名词，也可以跟形容词＋名词。
例如：It gave him such a shock that his face turned white．这使他如此震惊以至于脸都变白了。
It is such a small matter that I do not want to mention it．那么小的一件事，我不想再提了。
It was such a cold day that there was nobody on the street. 天气很冷，街上没有一个人。
试比较：He is such a good teacher as we all respect. 他是一位我们大家都尊敬的好老师。
(a s 引导的是定语从句，as 在该定语从句中用作respect的宾语)He is such a good teacher that we all respect him. 他是那样一位好老师,以至于我们大家都尊敬他。
(that 引导的是结果状语从句，that在该状语从句中不充当句子成分，另外注意句中的respect带有宾语him)【学以致用】翻译下列句子1）你需要什么就拿什么。

表语从句就是用一个句子作为表语。
说明主语是什么或者怎么样，由名词、形容词或相当于名词或形容词的词或短语充当，和连系动词一起构成谓语。
I think it is because you are doing too much. 我想这是因为你做得太多。
H e was sent to the hospital. That’s because he was ill. 他被送到医院，是因为他生病了。

先行词those在从句中当主语。
谓语是reported，宾语是the news。
例如：The girl who often helps me with my English is from England.经常在英语方面帮助我的那个女孩是英国人。
（作主语）Is he the man who/that wants to see you?他就是你想见的人吗？（who/that作主语）【学以致用】翻译下列句子1）谁笑到最后谁笑得最好。

the same dialect as people in the northwestern USA.是the same + 名词+ as…句型。
在the same + 名词+ as…这个句型中，as是关系代词，引导定语从句，as在从句中可充当主语、宾语或表语。
另还可用the same as…句型。
例如：The house is just the same as it used to be. 这座房子还跟过去一样。
(as在定语从句中作表语)We are facing the same problems as we did years ago. (as在从句中作动词宾语)我们正面临着几年前同样的问题。
We drove out of the town by the same road as we had entered by. (as在从句中作介词宾语)我们驱车出城时，与进城时是同一条路。
