初中生英语朗诵文章初中生英语朗诵文章篇(1) Sports do us good in many respects (TS). It goes without saying that taking exercises can build up our physical strength. In collective sports like basketball, volleyball, or football, we will learn the importance of cooperation. While taking part in sports game, we will try our best to win and arouse ourselves the competitive spirit. Sports can also help us relax after a period of exhausting work. However, as the saying goes, there are two sides to everything, and sports is without exception. We may hurt other players or ourselves if we are not careful enough when participating in sports activities. Whats more, excessive or severe training can do harm to our health. My participation in sports tells me that sports can make us healthy both physically and psychologically. It is also a good way for people to know each other and can promote friendship between people. So long as we are carefully enough, sports can do us nothing but good.初中生英语朗诵文章篇(2) As a middle school student, usually Im busy and have no time to do other things. But in my spare time, I like reading and traveling. I think theyre fit for me.A good book is a friend who never turns his back upon us. Reading makes me get a lot of knowledge. I usually read classics. They improve my philological ability(语言能力) and makes me know much different philological style in different countries.Well, traveling is good, too. Ive been to many cities.I think I am just like a modern Xu Xiake(徐霞客). It opens up my eyes to the outside world, and makes me feel many different customs. In 2022, at the age of ten, I went to Beijing to take part in a chorus(合唱) competition by myself. It was my first time to travel without my parents. At first I felt very excited. I had a very heavy bag, and I had to carry it on my back. Then on the train, I couldnt go to sleep.I missed my home and my parents, and my tears rolled down my face. In Beijing, I visited a lot of places of interest. In my opinion, Beijing, the capital of China, is a mixture of modern civilization and ancient civilization. In Beijing Science Museum, I got a lot of knowledge. Also,I got a lot from other activities.Life may be sour, sweet, bitter or hot. It gives us different feelings. Life is like a poem, which gives us taste; life is as beautiful as songs; life is also like paintings, and it is very colorful!初中生英语朗诵文章篇(3) My grandma lived in the country twelve years ago. At that time, I often went to visit my grandparents with my parents during the holidays. Although I was very young then, now I can still remember a lot of things there clearly.I was very glad when we went to the country. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful things in the countryside. My grandpa grew many kinds of vegetables in his garden, such as cabbages, tomatoes, potatoes and carrots. Every morning,he fetched water from a river, and then watered the vegetables. Grandpa took good care of his vegetables as if they were his children. When autumn came, the garden was covered with greenery(绿色植物). Grandpa was always happy to see that. My grandma kept many chickens. They were all very lively. I liked playing with them; sometimes I had dinner with them playing around. I always thought they loved me.There was a small forest near my grandparents house. The trees were very thick. I usually played with my cousin in the woods after a meal. We could hear the birds singing in the trees and see many small animals playing in the grass. The air in the woods was fresh because of the trees. We usually played a game called Mud Fighting(打泥仗). First,we made mud balls. The more, the better; the bigger, the better. Then, we threw them at each other. The person who hit the other person first was the winner. We liked the game though it made our clothes dirty. In front of the woods, there was a small river. The water in the river was very clean and not very deep. In summer, it was quite cool. However, it became warm in winter. I could see many fishes in the river. Sometimes,my grandpa caught some fishes for supper. How delicious they were! There was a bridge which was made of stone over the river. I could go across the bridge to the other side. There were also many beautiful flowers and lines of trees on the banks of the river.Eight years ago my grandparents moved to the city and Ive never gone to that village. However, I still remember it. I love the village and everything there and I willremember it forever!。

初中学生英语演讲比赛稿范文Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning! It's a great honor for me to stand here and deliver a speech in front of you all. Today, I would like to talk about the importance of perseverance in our lives. In a world that is constantly changing, one quality that stands out as essential is perseverance. It is the driving force that propels us forward, even when the odds are stacked against us. It is the inner strength that keeps us going when everything seems to be falling apart.Let me share a story with you. There was once a young boy who was passionate about music. He spent countless hours practicing the piano, dreaming of one day becoming a concert pianist. However, he faced numerous obstacles. His family couldn't afford a piano, so he practiced on an old, out-of-tune instrument. His teachers told him that he lacked the natural talent needed to succeed. Yet, he never gave up. He persevered, and through his unwavering determination, he eventually became one of the greatest pianists of his time. This story is a testament to the power of perseverance. It reminds us that no matter how difficult the journey may be, with persistence and hard work, we can achieve our dreams. But why is perseverance so crucial? Firstly, it helps usovercome challenges. Life is full of obstacles, and it's through perseverance that we find the strength to keep moving forward. Secondly, it builds character. The process of persevering through tough times teaches us resilience and shapes us into stronger individuals. Lastly, it leads to success. History is filled with examples of people who achieved greatness not because they were the most talented, but because they were the most persistent. In conclusion, perseverance is a vital quality that we must all strive to cultivate. It is the key to unlocking our potential and achieving our goals. So, let us embrace the challenges that come our way, and let us persevere.Thank you for your attention. I hope my speech has inspired you to never give up, no matter what challenges you face. Remember, the only way to fail is to stop trying. Let's keep moving forward, together.Thank you once again for the opportunity to speak to you today.。
初中生英语演讲比赛稿英文Title: The Power of DreamsLadies and Gentlemen,Today, I stand here to talk about something that ignites our souls, fuels our ambitions, and shapes our futures – the power of dreams.Dreams, they say, are the seedlings of realities. They are the whispers of our heart, the echoes of our soul, urging us to pursue something greater than ourselves. As children, we dreamed of becoming astronauts, exploring the mysteries of space. Or perhaps, we imagined ourselves as doctors, saving lives and bringing smiles to the faces of the suffering. These dreams, though seemingly distant, were the spark that ignited our journey. As we grow older, the world around us becomes more complex. The realities of life, the challenges we face, and the responsibilities we bear often seem to dim thelight of our dreams. But it’s in these moments, when the going gets tough, that we must remember the power of those dreams. They are not just wishes or fantasies; they are the blueprint of our lives, guiding us towards our true potential. The power of dreams lies in their ability to transform us. They push us to explore new horizons, to overcome obstacles, and to become the best version of ourselves. Dreams give us a purpose, a reason to wake up each morning with renewed vigor and determination. They are the fuel that drives us forward, even when the road ahead seems uncertain and full of challenges. Moreover, dreams have the incredible power to unite us. When we share our dreams with others, we create a bond that transcends all boundaries. Our dreams become a common ground, a platform where we can connect, collaborate, and support each other in achieving our goals. This unity, born from the shared pursuit of dreams, has the potential to bring positive change not only in our lives but also in the world around us.However, to harness the power of dreams, we must believe in them. We must have the courage to pursue them, despite the doubts and fears that may hold us back. We must be willing to take risks, to step out of our comfort zones, and to embrace the unknown. Only then, can we turn our dreams into realities. In conclusion, let us never forget the power of dreams. They are the compass that guides us, the force that drives us, and the light that shines within us. Let us hold onto our dreams, nurture them, and with every ounce of strength and determination, let us bring them to life.Thank you all for listening to my speech. I hope it has inspired you to believe in the power of your dreams and to pursue them with all your heart. Together, let us create a world where dreams become realities and possibilities become endless.。

The world would be more beautiful if it was full of filled with friendship初中生关于英语演讲比赛稿篇2You practiced over and over again; you wanted it more than anyone; you studied the hardest, but in the end, you still didn't succeed. Each time you ask yourself, what happened and why. What I might suggest is that did you have a wrong attitude?Positive attitude helps us cope with the daily affairs of life more easily. It brings optimism into our life, and makes iteasier to avoid worry and negative thinking. If we adopt it as a way of life, it will bring constructive changes into our life, and makes us happier, brighter and more successful. With a positive attitude we will see the bright side of life, become optimistic and expect the best to happen. It is certainly a state of mind that is well worth developing and strengthening. So next time, you will practice just as much, still want it just as much, will study just as hard. What will be different is that you will also put on a smile. A positive attitude might just be the one thing that you need to succeed!初中生关于英语演讲比赛稿篇3Do you have a teacher? Then one day, the irate tortoise answered back: "Who do you think you are? There's no denying you're swift, but even you can be beaten!" The hare squealed with laughter."Beaten in a race? By whom? Not you, surely! I bet there's nobody in the world that can win against me, I'm so speedy. Now, why don't you try?"Annoyed by such bragging, the tortoise accepted the challenge. A course was planned, and the next day at dawn they stood at the starting line. The hare yawned sleepily as the meek tortoise trudged slowly off. When the hare saw how painfully slow his rival was, he decided, half asleep on his feet, to have a quick nap. "Take your time!" he said. "I'll have forty winks and catch up with you in a minute."The hare woke with a start from a fitful sleep and gazed round, looking for the tortoise. But the creature was only a short distance away, having barely covered a third of the course. Breathing a sigh of relief, the hare decided he might as well have breakfast too, and off he went to munch some cabbages he had noticed in a nearby field. But the heavy meal and the hot sun made his eyelids droop. With a careless glance at the tortoise, now halfway along the course, he decided to have another snooze before flashing past the winning post. And smiling at the thought of the look on the tortoise's face when it saw the hare speed by, he fell fast asleep and was soon snoring happily. The sun started to sink, below the horizon, and the tortoise, who had been plodding towards the winning post since morning, was scarcely a yard from the finish. At that very point, the hare woke with a jolt. He could see the tortoise a speck in the distance andaway he dashed. He leapt and bounded at a great rate, his tongue lolling, and gasping for breath. Just a little more and he'd be first at the finish. But the hare's last leap was just too late, for the tortoise had beaten him to the winning post. Poor hare! Tired and in disgrace, he slumped down beside the tortoise who was silently smiling at him."Slowly does it every time!" he said.。

初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇1Chinahas a very long and brilliant history, whose people are so friendly and hospitable. But I am wondering why some people pay such little attention to the environment and nature. In many places of the countryside, rivers have become stinking sewers and brooks have disappeared. Heaps of garbage obstructs the scarce flow of dirty water. The grounds are littered with plastic bottles and bags. People are cutting down trees even though it is illegal. In some towns, rubbish is hidden behind walls. Garbage cans are often of little use, making cleaners must rush all day long and also by night to clean the rubbish. This lack of consideration for nature in general is extremely detrimental to childrens education, toChinas image, to public health, to tourism and to the future.Chinais the common treasure of all Chinese, and we should live up to be a member of this big family, a descendant of 5000-year-plus ancient civilized country.I think the environment must absolutely be strictly protected by all means. This protection should go at the same pace as the marvelous development of the nation. In this respect,Germanyis a rare model and leaves me a very deep impression. After you have an exciting tour around in this country for a week or so, it is unnecessary for you to polish your leather shoes. Personally, first of all, the strong awareness of peoples environmental protection; then, the advanced technology applied in the field of preserving the nature; We can learn form others in building China into one of the most environmentally friendly places in the world.初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇2Good morning, Everyone!I will talk about sports. I am an active boy. I like many kinds of sports, such as walking, skating, climbing, cycling and skipping. Doing sports gives me a good health and brings me a lot of fun. Now, I will tell you about my cycling sport. I often ride my bicyclewhen I am free. I like to ride my bicycle on a road near my house. It is an empty road. There are no cars and few people walking on the road. It is about four kilometers long. It has several long slopes. So it is very good for cycling. When I ride down the slopes, the bicycle runs very fast, and I feel I am flying. Thats a very good feeling for me. When I ride up the slopes, it is very difficult, but it is a good training for me. I always try my best to ride up as long as possible. Cycling there gives me lots of fun.Everyone can get ill, but doing sports is a good doctor. I know an English saying "Exercise one hour a day, keep illness away." My own story has proved it. I once had an illness. I had to go to see the doctors and take medicines very often. After doing sports for several years, I have recovered now.Doing sports gives me a strong body and brings me lots of fun. So if you want to be strong, please do sports; if you want to enjoy a happy life, please do sports, too.Thank you!初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇3hello everyone,My name is Duan Jiayu, English name is Daisy, seven years old this year, first grade in Daxing.I am very pleased to attend the "star of hope" English contest. My hobby is climbing and hiking, when I was only two years old, mygrandma took me to climb the Longevity Hill of the summer palace, longevity hill has 60 meters, I climbed the mountain with hands and feet, clothes and pants stained with dirt, just like a soil monkey. The tourists thumbs compliment me, I was very proud of it! At that time, our slogan was: "longevity hill training, Fragrant hills challenge!"At the age of five, my grandmother and I climbed the Fragrant Hills, the top of the hill has almost 600 meters, we had reached the top of the hill in one hour, this year my grandmother and I will climb the Fragrant Hills every weekend, higher challenge to Taishan!Thank you, very mach!初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇4My favorite Animal-Black Faced SpoonbillGood afternoon, dear judges. Today my speech is "I loveblack-faced spoonbill. On a beautiful winter day, I happened to meet the lovely spirit---- Black Faced Spoonbill, a type of migratory bird, which spends winter at Hong-Shu-Lin in my city every year. Covered withsnow-white feathers, it has black legs and a black beak. Besides the blacks and whites, an amazing splash of yellow is under its neck. So elegant that I couldnt help loving it at first sight. With a big and spoon-shaped beak, it can clasp fishes easily, whichmakes it a powerful hunter in birds. However, with human expansion and pollution, only around 2000 ones are living all over the world.Like the eleven swan princes in Andersens Fairy Tale, the Black Faced Spoonbills have always been struggling to find a tiny rock which can offer them a momentary tranquility. Fortunately, they have found one in my beloved home. I would always hold them dearly to my heart and wish they would return with flocks of chicks in the following years, and singing...Oh, I have a home, such a beautiful home, where I play and rest happily.Oh, give them a home, such a wonderful home, where the spoonbills play all day.初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇5Never, Never Give UpWe often hear people say, "Never give up." These can be encouraging words and words of determination. A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieveanything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. Besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as people. Another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is wasted. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives. If we never challenge ourselves, we will begin to doubt our abilities. In short, it is important that we do not give up when working for our goals. Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, and what we learn will help us to become better, more confident people. Furthermore, if we give up, we have non chance of attaining our goals, but if we keep trying, there is always a chance that we will succeed one day.Thank you !看完"初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿5篇"的人1.学生英语口语大赛演讲稿3篇2.英语口语大赛演讲稿3.初中英语口语演讲稿4.大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿3篇5.初二年级英语口语演讲稿精选6.初中生英语励志演讲稿精选3篇7.中学生英语演讲比赛演讲稿。
初中生英语演讲比赛稿3分钟(精选3篇)初中生英语演讲比赛稿3分钟篇1good evening ,ladies and gentlemen:thank you very much for choosing to e in such a cold night。
today my topic is about choice and process。
a research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one day。
with so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life。
in my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice。
there is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference。
life is a box of chocolate, you never know what you will get。
forrest gump made no decision by and for himself but he acplished great success with his strong will in the process。
the process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles。
2024北京中考英语听说朗读文本全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Day at the ZooHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I want to tell you all about my amazing day at the zoo last weekend. It was the best day ever!On Saturday morning, my mom woke me up really early. I was kinda grumpy at first because who likes getting up before the sun? But then she told me we were going to the zoo and I got super excited! I love animals, especially the big furry ones like lions and bears. We had a quick breakfast of cereal and orange juice, and then we were off. Dad drove us to the zoo which is on the other side of the city. The drive took forever but I didn't mind because I was daydreaming about all the cool animals I would get to see. Finally, we arrived and I could hardly contain my excitement. The zoo entrance had this huge elephant statue that was taller than a tree! We bought our tickets and went inside. The firstthing we saw was the bird sanctuary. There were so many pretty birds with bright feathers flying around. I saw toucans, macaws, flamingos and even a funny-looking bird called a shoebill stork. It looked like it was wearing a giant shoe for a beak!Next, we walked over to the big cat area. That's where they keep the lions, tigers, leopards and other fierce felines. The lions were so majestic, just lounging around in the sun. But then one of them let out this incredible roar that made me jump! The tiger was pacing back and forth, looking very sleek and dangerous. I wouldn't want to meet one of those in a dark alley! After the big cats, we went to see the apes and monkeys. They were hilarious, swinging from branch to branch and making funny noises. My favorite was the orangutan - it looked so silly with its long arms and furry orange hair. One of the chimps started picking its nose and then ate it! Gross, but also kinda funny. For lunch, we had hot dogs and fries at a little restaurant inside the zoo. I got ketchup all over my face because I was eating too fast. I was just so excited to get back and see more animals! In the afternoon, we saw the bears, both polar bears and grizzly bears. The polar bear was splashing around in a big poolof water which looked really refreshing on such a hot day. The grizzly bear was napping and letting out these funny snoring sounds. I wouldn't want to wake him up, that's for sure! Finally, we went to see the elephants, giraffes and zebras in the African safari area. The baby elephant was sooo cute, following its mom around and using its trunk like a little snorkel in the water. The giraffes had the longest necks and tongues I've ever seen - one of them actually licked my face with its giant purple tongue! And the zebras were beautiful with their black and white stripes.By the end of the day, my feet were sore from all the walking but I had the biggest smile on my face. We stopped at the gift shop on the way out and I got a stuffed lion that I named Leo. I can't wait to go back to the zoo again someday. It was the best day ever!篇2Hi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm a 6th grader at Beijing Elementary School. Today I want to tell you all about my daily life and what a typical day is like for me.I wake up pretty early, around 6:30am, because I have to get ready for school. My mom makes me a healthy breakfast, usuallysome congee with vegetables or an egg sandwich. I don't like to skip breakfast because then I feel really tired at school. At 7:30am, I leave for school. My dad drives me most days, but sometimes I take the school bus if he has an early meeting at work. The drive to school takes about 20 minutes because there's a lot of traffic in the mornings. I really enjoy listening to music or an audiobook in the car to pass the time.My first class starts at 8:15am. We have lots of different subjects like math, Chinese, English, science, and history. My favorite is probably English because I find learning another language super interesting and fun! We get a short break at10am where we can have a snack and play outside for 15 minutes. After the morning classes, we have lunch in the cafeteria at 11:45am. The food is pretty good - they have different options like noodles, rice dishes, and vegetables. My friends and I like to trade food sometimes to try new things. In the afternoon from 1pm to 4pm, we have more classes like art, music, and P.E. P.E. is my least favorite because I'm not very athletic or coordinated. But I know it's important to exercise and stay active. Art class is really enjoyable for me since I love painting and being creative.Once school is over at 4pm, I head home and have a little free time before starting homework. I'll watch some TV, play outside, or read for fun. Having some downtime helps me recharge after a long day.I start my homework around 5:30pm. I have assignments for almost every subject, so it takes me a couple of hours to get through it all. Sometimes I get frustrated when there's a lot of work, but my parents remind me that it's important to develop good study habits. We have family dinner at 7:30pm. My mom is an amazing cook and always makes really delicious homemade Chinese dishes. We'll talk about our days and my parents ask me how things are going at school. Having that family time is one of my favorite parts of the day. After dinner around 8:30pm, I relax by watching a show or playing games on my tablet. I try not to use too much screen time though, so I'll also read books, draw, or play board games sometimes. My parents make me start getting ready for bed at 9pm.I go to sleep around 9:30pm so I can be well-rested for the next day. Even though I'm just a kid, I stay pretty busy with school, activities, homework, and more. But I know it's importantto work hard now so I can have opportunities later on. I feel very lucky to be able to get a good education. That's a typical day in my life! Being a 6th grader in Beijing keeps me busy for sure, but I really appreciate all the chances I have to learn and grow. Thanks for listening, and let me know if you have any other questions!篇3Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I go to Beida Elementary School here in Beijing. Today I want to tell you all about my summer vacation last year. It was the best summer ever!It started off with a big family trip. My mom, dad, little brother Tao, and I went to Hainan Island down in the very south of China. We stayed at this awesome beach resort with a huge pool, waterslides, and everything! The beach itself was beautiful with soft white sand and bright blue ocean water. I spent hours every day swimming, building sandcastles, and looking for little crabs and shells. One of the coolest things we did was go snorkeling. We all got to wear masks and tubes to breathe underwater and see the coral reefs and tropical fish up close. There were so many colors -bright yellow fish, striped purple ones, even some that were almost transparent! I saw a sea turtle which was incredible. Tao got a little scared at first being underwater but then he loved watching the fish swim all around us.Another day, we went on a boat tour around the island. The guide told us all about the history of Hainan and how it used to be underwater millions of years ago. We saw these huge rock formations sticking up out of the ocean that used to be ancient mountains! We also got to stop at a little fishing village and I tried my first-ever fresh coconut drink straight from a coconut. It was so delicious and refreshing on such a hot day. After a week in Hainan, we travelled to my grandparents' hometown of Xi'an to visit them for a few days. That's where my dad grew up. I love going there because the city is full of such cool history. We always visit these incredible terracotta warrior statues that were buried underground for over 2000 years before being discovered! Can you imagine that? Thousands of life-sized soldier sculptures all standing at attention. My mind was blown thinking about how long they had been there. My grandparents live in a traditional courtyard house in the Muslim Quarter neighborhood. That's where my grandpa's ancestors are from. The narrow streets are packed with tinyshops, markets, and restaurants. Everything smells so good from all the street food - skewers of lamb kebabs, warm naan bread, and my favorite - hand-pulled noodles! You can watch the chefs stretching and twisting the dough into long noodles right in front of you. I tried making them myself but it's much harder than it looks! One night we went to this amazing fountain show at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It's this gigantic historic pagoda that's been around for over 1300 years! The show combined lights, music, water fountains, and even fire at some points. The water would dance and change colors in time to traditional Chinese music playing. The grand finale featured the whole pagoda appearing to be on fire with bright red and orange light projections. It looked like a burning torch against the night sky. So cool! After Xi'an, we headed back to Beijing but stopped for a few days at my aunt and uncle's place in Chengde. They live in this gorgeous villa surrounded by mountains. We went on some fun hikes and swam in the rivers and streams in the area. One day we visited these amazing imperial summer gardens and palaces built way back in the 1700s. The Chinese emperors used to escape Beijing's heat by vacationing there. The gardens hadpavilions, temples, bridges, and even a replica of a Tibetan Buddhist monastery! The last stop on our trip was Inner Mongolia to visit some nomadic families living out in the vast grasslands there. That was a really unique experience! We stayed in traditional Mongolian yurts which are circular tents made of wood and canvas. At night, we would sit around a fire, drink milk tea, and listen to folks play traditional instruments and sing throatsinging songs. It was like nothing I'd ever heard before!During the days, we went on horseback rides across the wide open prairies and hiked up grassy hills. The landscape looked like it went on forever with no trees or buildings in sight, just sporadic herds of cows, sheep, and horses roaming free. One afternoon, some of the nomads showed us how they practice archery on horseback, which was their main hunting method traditionally. They were such excellent riders and incredible archers to be able to do both at once. I just about fell off my horse trying it!We also got to participate in an authentic Mongolian barbecue one evening. It involved digging a pit in the ground, filling it with hot coals and rocks, and then putting a grated rack over the top to cook all the meat and vegetables. Everything wasso flavorful and tender cooked that way! For dessert, we had thick yogurt drinks and sweet rice biscuits. It was all absolutely delicious.Well, that was pretty much my amazing summer travels last year! I had such an awesome time experiencing so many different cultures, foods, activities, and sights all across China. From beach vacations to historic cities to staying with nomads on the grasslands, it was the trip of a lifetime. I feel so lucky to have had that opportunity and made so many wonderful memories. Can't wait for more adventures this summer!篇4Hi there! I'm Jia Ming and I'm 11 years old. I just finished 5th grade at Huaxia Elementary School here in Beijing. I had such an exciting year and can't wait to tell you all about it!The best thing that happened was getting a new English teacher, Mr. Davis. He's from Canada and speaks perfect English of course. Having a native speaker as our English teacher made learning the language so much fun. In the past, English class could be a little boring with just our Chinese teachers. But Mr. Davis always had us playing games and singing songs to practice vocabulary and grammar. My favorite game was "Quotation Marks" where we had to listen carefully as Mr. Davis read a quote or famous saying and then put our hands up in the shape of quotation marks around our faces whenever he paused talking. If we messed up the hand motions, we were out! It was such a silly game but really helped me concentrate on understanding full sentences in English.Another highlight was when we did reader's theater and acted out stories and plays from our English textbooks. I got to be Goldilocks and had so many lines to memorize! Speaking all that English dialogue in front of my classmates wasnerve-wracking at first, but it ended up being a blast. Now I'm way more confident speaking English out loud.Outside of class, I tried to immerse myself in English as much as possible. My parents signed me up for an English learning app that had cool animated videos teaching vocabulary, pronunciation, and more. I loved collecting points and badges for completing lessons. We also started watching some movies and shows in English at home with Chinese subtitles, like the new Disney remakes of classic animated films. While I couldn't understand everything, I caught more words and phrases than I expected. The highlight of my English adventures though was my first time traveling abroad with my family over winter break. We went to Singapore and I was amazed that I could understand and communicate so much better than when we last traveled a few years ago before I started intensively studying English. Ordering food, asking directions, and making simple conversation was pretty easy. Singapore was also an awesome place to visit with amazing attractions like Gardens by the Bay and the giant Ferris wheel on the waterfront. When we came back to Beijing, my English skills had improved so much that I got moved up to an advanced English class for 6th grade next year. I'm excited but also a little nervous because it will be super challenging. The advanced class has students way ahead of me who have been taking extra English tutoring forever. I'll have to work twice as hard to catch up to their level. That's not going to stop me from trying my best though! My biggest goal for the upcoming school year is to read my first full novel in English. I'm already practicing by reading short children's books like the Dog Man series. I can understand most of the vocabulary and basic plot pretty well, especially with the funny illustrations providing context clues. Someday I hope tomove on to the Harry Potter books, which look so thick and intimidating but are supposed to be modern classics. As you can probably tell, learning English is my biggest passion right now. My dream is to become an interpreter working at big events and businesses dealing with international affairs. How cool would it be to translate for world leaders, athletes, and celebrities?! With hard work and determination, I'm confident I can make this dream a reality. The world is becoming such an interconnected place and having English skills opens up so many opportunities.Well, that's enough from me. Writing this all out has me even more fired up to continue leveling up my English over the next year. Wish me luck in 6th grade! I'll do my best to make my family, my teachers, and myself proud. Thanks for reading and talk to you again soon!篇5大家好!我是小明,今天给大家分享一下我最喜欢的动物——熊猫。

:Buy What You LoveI used to be a shopaholic. How many of us can relate to that statement? Yet, when Saturday rolls around, off we go to the nearest boutique or shopping mall to buy more clothes, things, and possessions that we really arent even sure we need or want."But it was on SALE..." is often one of the biggest defenses we use to justify our shopping habits and expenditures. As someone who truly has been a shop-a-holic (yes, I once spent $10,000 in one two month period on clothes -- my MasterCard entered the MasterCard hall-of-fame for that one!) I can tell you that buying something just because it is "on sale" is not a good reason for making a purchase.I spent far more money than I needed to simply because a store was going out of business and had too many great deals to pass up. But at what cost did I do this? If I had invested my money in real estate, I could have bought ten times the amount of clothes just three years later. Or, how many starving, hungry people could I have fed, if I had donated that money, instead? Did I need the clothes? Not really. I already had numerous suits, ties, and shirts that I hardly wore more than once a year. So, if youre finding yourself nodding and saying, "hmm... yes, I DO have a lot of shoes I rarely wear.... yes, I do have more than I need... " then here are a few basic guidelines to help break the pattern and start creating the proactive life on purpose with our elegant -- yet SIMPLE lifestyle we seek:1. Buy it ONLY if we NEED it and ONLY if we LOVE it. This is the most important guideline.2. If I buy something new, and have something like it already, then the older something must be donated, given away, or thrown away. This is a basic of clutter clearing that when overlooked creates an abundance of stuff we no longer need cluttering up our lives.3. If we need it, buy it if it is on sale, if possible, but do not let that be a deterrence to buying. However, buy consumables, furniture, and other things which stay in style longer at the endof seasons, and buy clothing which fades from style at the beginning of the season. We need to buy much less of the "fashion trend" type of clothing and much more of styles which will be staying around for a longer time, so we can maximize our clothing investment.4. If we havent worn it in a year, then consider getting rid of it.5. Find a good tailor. Most of the problems with clothing and fit could be eliminated simply by having good tailor. Also, take outfits to the tailor for fitting any time weve gained or lost more than 5 lbs. Ever seen someone with a double breasted suit with the button in the wrong place? Or a suit that pinches in the middle? A dress that fits funny? Why not get it tailored professionally so we can look our best? That is what elegance is all about, isnt it?6. If we have not used an item (furniture, gadget, etc.) for overa year, consider donating, selling, or otherwise getting rid of the item. There are some exceptions to this guideline, if collecting a certain item is our passion, but otherwise, this is a healthy guideline to keep our "stuff" simplified.7. Before buying anything, always ask "Do I need this? Do I LOVE this?" If the answer is "no", then dont buy it.As we start to buy proactively, with a plan for bringing new things into our life and donating or selling those things we no longer need,we will find your life will be far more free to spend the time doing what we love, rather than being a slave to fashion.:With one small gestureOne day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd." I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friend tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. So, I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives. He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!" There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now.We talked all the way home, and I carried his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play football on Saturday with me and my friends. He said yes. The more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him. And my friends thought the same of him.Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, "Dim boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!" He just laughed and handed me half the books.Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors, we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown, and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem.Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasnt me having to get up there and speak.Graduation day, I saw Kyle.. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found themselves during high school. He had more dates than me and all the girls loved him! Boy, sometimes I was jealous.Today was one of those days. I can see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, youll be great!" He looked at me with one of those looks (the reallygrateful one) and smiled."Thanks," he said. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began. "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach.... but mostly your friends. I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give him or her. I am going to tell you a story." I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldnt have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. "Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and Dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize its depth.Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a persons life. For better or for worse.:May I sit here?I look at spiders and butter-flies. I watch caterpillars and moths. Sometimes I think Im the only one who notices these things. But if it hadnt been for a crowded cafeteria, I wouldnt Have ever noticedValeri. After all, I wasnt looking for new friends.Valeri was a new student. She walked to class with her books huddled against her chest and her head down. He talked only when the teacher asked her a question. After a month at our school, she hadnt made any friend. At recess, she sat on a bench and read. If you asked who she was, youd get a response like this, "Shes in my PE class, I cant remenber her name."One day at lunch, I had nowhere to sit. Most tables were full, my friends scattered among them. But Valeri sat alone, book in hand, I walked over to her."May I sit here?" I asked."Sure," she said. The cafeteria was noisy, but silence hung between us. Valeri didnt seem to mind, but it drove me crazy. I searched my mind for things to say."So," I said, "is that a good book?" Valeri gave a small nod and went back to reading. "Whats it about?" I asked, after several more agonizing seconds of silence. She looked at me, her eyes sparkling. "Well, its called Eragon, and its about a dragon! This boy, Eragon, finds this dragon egg when he goes hunging one day. He thinks its a rock! The egg hatches and Eragon hides the dragon from his cousin and uncle until it gets too big.""That sounds cool." I said. I was about to ask her another question, but the bell rang.As I rushed out of the cafeteria, I called to Valeri, "See you later.""Yeah," she said, "see you later." She sounded doubtful.A couple days later, I spotted Valeri looking for a place to sit at lunch."Valeri, come here." I pointed to an empty chair. She sat down and pulled out her book. Everyone was talking about next weeks talent show. "So, what are you doing for the show?" My friend Erin asked my friend Kelly."Oh, I dont know, probably nothing," Kelly sighed. "What are you doing?" She pointed to Valeri."Oh." Valeri put her book down. "I dont know. Maybe nothing."The week flew by. Before I knew it. I was sitting in the auditorium, listening to a group of girls sing the latest pop songs at the talent show. I was bored out of my life, and I wanted it to end so I could read Eragon. Id checked it out at the library, Then a shy girl walked on stage. I recongized her immediately. Valeri clutched a violin in one hand and a bow in the other. She stared to play. The notes formed a soft, weet tune. Then it turned fast, then faster. The music stopped altogether before thetune retumed. Valeri ended the song with one hard, fast, loud note. The auditorium fell completely silent until we realized the music was finished. Still in a halftrance, we burst into applause. Valeri took a swift bow and walked off stage.I smiled to myself. Valeri wasnt just a "quiet girl".She knew about wonderful books and could play the violin like nothing Id ever heard. Like a caterpillar or butterfly, she was beautiful and amazing when you looked closely.。

英语朗诵稿1I love EnglishAs everyone knows, English is very important today. It has been used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet. If we can speak English well, we will have more chance to succeed. Because more and more people have taken notice of it, the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed. But for myself, I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for it. When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world. When I read English novels, I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation. When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words. When I writeEnglish, I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese... I love English, it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries. I can see many places of great intrests. I dream that I can go to London, because it is the birth place of English. I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people, I hope that they can love our country like us. I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that aftercontinuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well. If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love Englisheveryday, it will love me too. I am sure that I will realize my dream one day! Thank you!译文:正如每个人所知,英语在今天十分重要。

My name is ()today I want to say “Food is very important”. Everyone needs to eat well if he or she wants to have a strong body. Our minds also need a kind of food. This kind of food is “knowledge”.We begin to get knowledge even when we are very young. Small children are interested in everything around them. They learn something while they are watching and listening. When they are getting older. they begin to read storybooks, science books, or anything they like. When they find something new, they have to ask questions and try to find out the answers. What’s the best way to get knowledge? If we learn by ourselves, we will get the most knowledge. If we are always getting answers from others and don’t ask why, we will never learn more and understand better.四:四季多美好Four seasonsGood afternoon my dear friends,I am happy to stand here to share something with you,let me introduce myself。
