三、教学过程设计

Step 1 Warm-up

1. Greetings and review the previous lesson: Greet the students and

review the words and sentences learned in the previous two lessons. Step 2 Presentation

1. Introduce the new words: weekend, game, watch和TV,并指导学生正确发音和拼写。

2. Show some pictures of different activities and ask the students to

identify the activities.

Step 3 Practice

1. Listen and repeat: Play the recording of the new words and let the

students repeat.

2. Group work: Divide the class into groups and ask them to ask and

answer each other’s weekend activities using the sentence pattern: What

do you do on weekends? I watch TV.

3. Pair work: Ask students to work in pairs and practice the sentence

pattern: What do you do on weekends? I watch TV.

Step 4 Production

1. Show some pictures of different weekend activities and ask the

students to practice using the sentence pattern: What do you do on

weekends? I watch TV.

2. Summarize the lesson: Summarize the new words and sentence pattern

and ask the students to practice using them in English.

Step 5 Extension

1. Homework: Ask students to write a short paragraph about their

favorite activities on the weekends using the sentence pattern they

learned today.

2. Group sharing: Ask students to read their paragraphs to the group.

四、教学评估

1. Observation: observe the students’ participation and ability to

use the new words and sentence pattern in oral activities.

2. Homework evaluation: Evaluate the students’ ability to write a

short paragraph about their favorite activities on weekends.

五、教学反思
