形容词和副词的比较级和最高级

形容词比较级构成方法记忆口诀

两者之间做比较，尾巴er少不了;

一般词尾加er，有e词尾只加r;

单一辅音单音节，双写词尾加er;

辅音加y很重要，去y变i加er;

双多音节字太长，前加more比它强;

遇到双多最高级，most放前最成立。

形容词和副词的比较级和最高级的变化方法如下

(1) 符合规则的：

情况加法例词

一般情况直接加-er ; -est tall-taller-tallest

以e结尾的词加–r ; -st nice-nicer-nicest 以“辅音+y”结尾的词变y为i再加-er ; -est heavy-heavier-heaviest

以一个辅音字母结尾的词辅音字母双写，再加-er ; -est thin-thinner-thinnest

多音节和部分双音节单词在词前加more ; most More delicious

most delicious

(2)不规则的形容词和副词的比较级和最高级：

原级比较级最高级

形容词、副词比较级与最高级部分用法歌诀

1．两者和三者或三者以上比较歌诀： 两者比较用than连，三者比较the在前。

2．同级比较歌诀：

同级比较用原级，as…as永不离。

若是否定加not，as…as否前者。

as…as加not，只说两者有区别。

so…as加not，后者总是强前者。

3．比较级的程度歌诀：

Much、still、a lot、far，even、twice、a little加，

“三年”“五月”any—“更”，a great deal深一层。

说明：比较级前可用以上词修饰，但不可用many，too，so等词修饰。这些词常用来表示比较级的程度，其词义分别为：much……得多；still要、还要；a lot……得多，far 远为、得多；even更、还要；twice两倍，a little稍微；three years三年；five months五月；更、再；

a great deal得多。

副词最高级前面

的the 往往省略注意：有些形容词，如 dead, empty, round,

sure, woolen 等受本身含义

的限制，没有比较级。

重点与难点：

（1）表示两者之间进行选择“哪一个更.....”时，用句型“which/who is +形容词的比较级，A or B? ”表示。

Who is taller,Li Ming or Wang Tao?

表示三或三者以上的人或物中进行选择“哪一个最....”时，用句型“which/who is +the +

最高级，A ，Bor C? ”表示。

Which city is the most beautiful,Beijing,Shanghai or Fuzhou?

（2）如果在两者之间表示“最……”时要在比较级前加the，而且还用of the two, of the pair短语：

John is the clever of the two boys.

Of the two boys, John is the clever.

（3）表示“越来越.......”,用比较级重叠结构，即“比较级+and+比较级”，当形容词为

多音节词或部分双音节词时，用“more and more +形容词原级。”

The weather is becoming colder and colder.

It’s getting warmer and warmer in spring.

(4)表示“最.....的.....之一”时，用“one of the +形容词最高级”结构，该形容词后用复

数形式。

Zhou Jielun is one of the most popular singers.

(5)形容词最高级前可以加序数词，表示“第几最........”.

The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.

(5)被物主代词,指示代词，名词所有格修饰时，前边不再加the China's biggest city is Shanghai.

Fishing is his latest hobby.

(6) 形容词原级表示比较级含义：

约翰不象迈克那么苯。

John is not so stupid as Mike.

John is less stupid than Mike.

John is cleverer than Mike.

(7) 用比较级表示最高级：约翰是班里最高的男生。

John is taller than any other boy in the class.

John is the tallest boy in the class.

John is taller than :any other boy.

倍数表达法：

（1） A is 倍数as +原级+ as B

Asia is four times as large as Europe.

（2）A is 倍数+ 比较级+than + B

Asia is three times larger than Europe.

(3)A is 倍数+ 名词+ of B

常见名词：the size/weight/height/width/length

The table is twice the length of the desk.
