Some teacher, whose spoken English is very good, helps me record the articles. Through the class, I find students are interested in the self-created teaching materials, because they are familiar to these cities. More importantly, the whole class are set in a real situation, that is running for civilized cities. The class are divided into three groups. Each group stands for a city, which can arouse students’ interest in speaking English. This situational teaching method is very useful and meaningful in English education, because students can really feel like they are in a meaningful language context. To cultivate students ability to compete and cooperate, in PK2, it is very necessary to give every student a paper note to let every student get involved. As students vote for civilized cities, we can see many students tend to choose their hometown. So here it is necessary to tell them what should we do to make our hometown a civilized city by free talking and watching a short video. At last, every student stands up to make a promise. Through this way, the civilization regulations by Guizhou Province are remembered by the students. All in all, the students in class are active and the class is relatively smooth. Next time I will draw the advantages of some teaching methods in this class, to make my class better.。
