a. All alone in the dark, dark forest, Goldilocks picked some flowers. 金凤花姑娘独自走进阴暗的森林，摘了一些花。 pick作动词，意为“采摘”，其后可直接跟名词作宾语。

pick up意为“拾起、捡起”，当宾语是名词时，名词置于up的前后均可；当宾语是代词时，代词只能放在pick和up之间

b. Then she noticed a little house. 接着，她注意到一幢小房子。

notice作动词，意为“注意到”。 如：Did you notice the hat in her hand?

notice sb. do / doing sth. 表示“注意到某人做/正做某事”。如：

I noticed Mrs Luo enter / entering the classroom.

d. …and knocked on the door. …敲了敲门。

knock意为“敲”，既可用作动词也可用作名词。作动词时为不及物动词，跟宾语时后面需跟介词on / at。 如：They heard a knock at the front door.
