Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Let’s guess! (5mins)
Play a memorizing and a guessing game.
Let the students enjoy three pieces of video about an interesting game from the show “Running Man” and let them guess the steps of the game.
Q1: Which national flag will they choose?
Q2: After choosing the flag of Thailand, What are they going to do next in the street?
Q3: After finding out the Thai, what are they going to do together?
Q4: Will they succeed finally?
Summary:If you are clear about every step of the game, you will know what you are going to do and finally you will succeed!
→Let the students know the learning aims of this period:
1. Be able tell the differences between“will” and “be going to” for future actions.
2. Be able to use them properly.
Step 2 Let’s think! (2mins)
Q:What do “will” and “be going to” have in common for future actions?
e.g.It will / is going to take a long time to finish the work.
To show ___________, we can use “will” and “be going to”.
Step 3 Let’s observe! (2mins)
Look at the examples and complete sentences A-B with will or be going to.
1. Can you lie down, please, and I’ll examine you?
2. My wife’s going to visit her sister this afternoon.
A. You use ___________ when the speaker decides to do something as he speaks.
B. You use ____________when someone has decided to do something before.
Step 4 Let’s discuss! (5mins)

Activity One: (The whole class do it together.)
Decide which sentences express:
A. a prediction(揣测)

Activity Two: (Finish it by themselves.)
