Roklin CWG-SikaSilArmorless Joint SystemProduct Description:Roklin Systems CWG-SikaSil armorless expansion joint system is designed with a silicone joint seal installed between Concrete Welder Gray elastomeric concrete headers.The CWG elastomeric concrete combined with SikaSil728RCS creates an impact absorbing header that bonds to the deck making for a watertight system.SikSil728RCS is a self-leveling,two component,very rapid cure,ultra low modulus elastomeric,neutral cure silicone sealant.Exceeds the requirements of ASTM C-920Type M,Grade P,Class100/e T,M,G,A,O:TT S-00227E,Type I,and various AASHTO reports and State DOT approvals.Detail SketchCWG Surface Preparation for Elastomeric Headers:∙Method of Cleaning.-Saw cut or hammer the perimeter of the repair site back to sound concrete,using abrasive blasting remove loose concrete,debris,dirt,anddust using a minimum150psi continuously dry compressed air.Wet saw cut isNOT recommended unless sufficient time for drying is allowed.∙Level of Cleanliness–Removal all loose and foreign materials by profiling surfaces in accordance with ICRI Guide03732to a minimum of CSP3by abrasiveblasting.∙Moisture content of structure–use a moisture meter to verify that surfaces in contact with the Roklin product are at5%moisture content or below.Concretemay be dried with a propane torch as necessary to achieve this.Only placeConcrete Welder Gray in temperatures between40degrees and100degrees F.andon concrete with a surface temperature at least5degrees F.above the dew pointand avoid application over damp surfaces.∙Concrete surfaces being prepared must be fully cured28days and fast setting concrete surfaces being prepared must be fully cured7days.∙For applications over previously installed polymers,the polymer surfaces must be cleaned,abraded and vacuumed prior to placement.CWG Elastomeric Header Application Procedure:∙Pre-application:Pre-condition both drums of Parts A and B Concrete Welder Gray to 50-70degrees F.before use.If the B drum has sat for more than4weeks,pre-condition Part B drum by mixing using a Fin Mixer for5-10minutes prior to initial use of Part B drums.∙Using the pump dispensing machine,with the manifold and static tube removed, perform the1to1ratio test of Parts A and B by pumping about a pint into two separate recipients and verify the machine is pumping equal volumes in each before proceeding with the repair.Put on the mixing tube and test a small amount of the product in a container for set time,if both checks are ok,begin flooding the pre-placed pea stone aggregate with the product.Monitor the even dispensing of Part A and Part B by occasionally checking the levels in the clear plastic Roklin drums.∙Completely seal any voids or cracks in the repair site where liquid could leak through by making a paste out of the mixed liquid using sandblast grit,place in areas of concern and allow to set for10minutes before placing the pea stone aggregate.There is no need to prime the repair surface first.For repairs deeper than3”place the pea stone and product in lifts up to3”.∙To avoid excessive use of topping sand,fill the repair site to within¼”of the deck surface with pea stone and level out.Start immersing the pea stone from the highside to the low side to avoid ponding on the low side.Sprinkle topping sand to grade,flush with the deck surface which will provide skid resistance.∙For topping sand use top rock or bagged US Silica washed and dried coarse sand and add to refusal.∙Grind to a45degree bevel the corners of the headers at the Joint Seal opening to avoid header edge being chipped by traffic plows.Note:Concrete Welder Gray can typically be ready for traffic in about20minutes at70 degrees F.with the cure faster in warmer temperatures daily after use with acetone.Flush A side pump and lines through manifold with vegetable oil when storing machine more than3-4weeks between uses.For hand tools,wipe clean with dry cloth before cure.Cured material must be removed mechanically.Do not attempt to burn off cured material.Deficiency and RepairConcrete Welder Gray can be saw cut and ground similar to concrete ideally after a24 hour period but if necessary after1-2hour cure depending on the ambient temperature.If excess material needs to be removed,saw cut,sand,or grind as needed.SikaSil728RCS Joint Seal Preparation:Joint Design:The number of joints and the joint width may be designed for high movement capability.For joints one to three inches in width,the sealant will accept movements+100%and -50%and for three to four inches in width,the sealant will accept movements of±50%of joint width at time of installation.The depth of the sealant should be1/2the width of the joint.The minimum depth is1/4inch(6mm)and the maximum is1/2inch(12mm).For joints greater than1inch(25.4mm),do not exceed3/8inch(6mm)in depth.Joint Backing:To control joint depth,use closed cell polyethylene or non-gassing polyolefin backer rod.If joint depth does not allow for backer rod,use polyethylene bond breaker tape to prevent three-sided adhesion.Closed cell backer rod should be25%larger than joint width;do not compress more than40%.Never use open cell rod in on grade horizontal joints.Surface Preparation The substrate must be clean,dry,frost free,sound and free of any oils, greases or incompatible sealers,paints or coatings that may interfere with adhesion.Porous Substrates–clean by mechanical methods to expose a sound surface free of contamination and laitance.Non-porous substrates–for cleaning non-porous substrates,use two rag wipe method using xylene or an approved commercial solvent.Allow solvent to evaporate prior to sealant application.Primer Sikasil-728RCS is designed to obtain adhesion without the use of a primer;however, best results are obtained when horizontal joints are primed.Test by applying the sealant and/or primer sealant combination to confirm results and proposed application methods.Refer to Technical Data Sheet for Sikasil Primer and contact Technical Service for additional information.SikaSil728RCS Joint Seal Application:Application Sikasil-728RCS is a two-part system and requires mixing.Do not mix material until preparation work has been completed.Manual mixing-transfer the Part B into the Part A and mix thoroughly using a slow speed paddle mixer designed for mixing two-part sealants.Mix for no more than one minute,making sure that you scrape the sides as you mix.The paddle must be kept below the surface at all times during mixing to avoid trapping air in the sealant.Apply using a professional bulk-caulking gun. Preferred use-automatic static mixing and dispensing equipment.Apply sealant using consistent,positive pressure to force sealant into the joint.Apply the sealant so that it is recessed 1/8inch(3mm)below the surface.For parking deck joints,recess1/4inch(6mm).For highway joints,recess1/4inch(13mm).Sikasil-728RCS is self-leveling-no tooling is needed. DO NOT use soapy water or other liquids.Consult full application guide for further information. 种植屋面:西卡轻钢屋面防水系统
1.产品简介:
轻钢屋面系统采用西卡渗耐专用固定配件,将PVC防水卷材固定于屋面结构钢板上,通过热风焊接形成完整的防水层(固定件被覆盖于防水卷材搭接边下)。
构造层次:
1.屋面压型钢板—建议采用0.8mm及以上厚度,以保证螺钉的绝对拉拔力及动态荷载下的抗松动性能。
板型由结构计算决定并需考虑所需保温材料的种类和厚度。
2.隔汽层—通常采用0.3mm厚的聚乙烯膜,其隔汽性能由厂家进行检测,所有连接及收口部位均采用胶带密封。
3.保温板层(挤塑聚苯乙烯、岩棉等)—保温板的选择与建筑物本身的保温、屋面压型钢板的板型、荷载等要求有关,并须具有一定的抗压要求(抗压强度为60kPa时变形率小于10%,EN826;点荷载为500N时,变形小于5mm,EN12430)。
4.隔离层-采用无纺布或玻璃丝布,当卷材与基层不相容或者基层粗糙不平时,应当设立隔离层。
5.PVC防水卷材-作为轻钢屋面系统的核心防水层,其机械固定的施工方法要求卷材具有较强的拉伸强度、撕裂强度及较低的延伸率,S327 L卷材严格参照Q/TBYJ1-2004企业标准(部分引用欧洲标准EN13956),为轻钢屋面系统的首选卷材,而F610 F、F10 F和Sikaplan®G 卷材亦适用于该系统。
