1．—What’s this in English? 用英语说这是什么？
— It’s an orange. （它）是一个橘子。
in 表示“以……”“用……”
Eg：in English用英语， in Chinese. 用汉语:
2. this, that 在句中是指示代词。
this是“这,这个”的意思，指较近的人或物体；
that 是“那，那个”的意思，指较远的人或物体。
它们当主语来提问时，通常用it 来回答。
Eg: ---What’s that? --- It’s an egg.
---Is this a car? --- No, it isn’t.
3．It’s an eraser .
a/an被称作不定冠词，用在单数可数名词前，表达某一个人或事物中的一个，相当于汉语的“一”，但不强调数目概念。
a/an用法的区别：
1．a 用在以辅音音素开头的单词前。
Eg：a book， a desk a ruler 2．an 用在以元音音素开头的单词前。
Eg：an egg， an apple an orange 小试牛刀：汉译英(一空一词)
