如何通过音标记住英语单词 (好东西)

学习必备 欢迎下载 不少学生在记单词时，采用背诵字母方式，如学“study”这个单词，就s-t-u-d-y的一个字母一个字母背诵。这样做，对于一些字母较少的单词还容易记住，但对一些字母较多的，记起来就困难了。并且有时字母记住了，但在排列时，又排错了。实际上，背字母记单词是记忆单词的一个误区。那么，应如何记忆单词呢？ 如何通过音标记住英语单词？ 首先先记住固定字母组合常发的音，其次遇见新单词时，要根据字母组合划分一个单词，这样就能做到会读就会拼了，对于一些较长、音节较多、无拼写规律的单词，这种方法很有效也很方便；但如果有规律的话，譬如有前缀或后缀的就把一个单词拆成若干个记忆。

也谈如何记忆英语单词谈如何记单词的问题可谓老生常谈，有多少人在多少书刊杂志上探讨过。

可本人在多年的教学中，体会最深的还是大部分学生单词记忆问题。

单词记不住，完形填空、阅读理解就无从下手。

词汇有限，语言表达就更成问题。

大部分学生为之叫苦不迭，因为这是他们失分的重要因素。

所以，如何科学有效地记忆单词，提高英语成绩，是摆在大部分学生面前的难题，也是我们教师应引起重视的问题。

近几年教学中，通过与学生谈心发现，他们记不住单词，不是不努力。

每天晨读时间都抱着英语课本苦背，结果合起课本后，大脑中还是没有什么印象。

笔者认为，虽为背单词，但并不是死记硬背，科学有效的方法是重要的。

下面根据本人多年的教学经验就单词记忆方法问题谈一下自己的看法。

第一、根据音标记单词英语单词是拼音文字，拼写和读音有着密切的关系。

所谓“观其形，知其音”，就是依照读音规则用音形结合的方法按音节记忆单词。

如单词a-gri-cul-ture; con-gra-tu-la-tion。

辅音字母的发音无须考虑，重要的是注意元音部分发音的字母。

只要符合读音规则，再长的单词也能轻松地记住。

但一定要做到眼到、口到、心到。

有的同学每天按照单词表很认真地高声朗读背诵，可放下书本还是只字不会，就是因为心未到，即思想不集中。

只要眼、口、心并用，不愁攻不下单词这一大关。

第二、利用构词法记忆单词单词的构成分派生、合成和转化三种。

派生词是由一个词根和一些相关的前缀、后缀构成。

而且根据词性和词义可以掌握一些前后缀的规律，一个词根可构成多个新词。

如单词nation（名词）可加上后缀构成形容词national，而其加上前缀又构成international。

又如：able可构成unable;abled;disabled;ability;disability 等。

在英语词汇中，有很多组同根词，而每组同根词在音、形、义上都相似或相联系。

合成词是由两个或两个以上的单词构成的一个具有合成意义的新词。

又，古时候人们宰牛是将“刀“放在“牛“的“角“后开始将其解体的，所以，“解“字就由“角““刀和“牛“三个字合成而来。

在英语词汇里有与此类似的合成词，这些合成词是由两个或两个以上的具有独立意义的子词组合而成的，而且合成词的意义通常就是其构成中子词意义的叠加与复合。

根据子词与合成词的内在关系记忆英语单词，就好比是对合成汉字进行“以形说义“一样。

所以，我们把合成记忆法看作是英语单词“说文解字“之一。

单词数量虽然浩瀚如海，但常用的词根、词缀数量和汉字的偏旁部首差不多，只有二三百个。

若利用词根、词缀对英语单词进行构词分析和解形释义，单词既好认又好记，词义一目了然。

英语拼读法初三学生要掌握正确的拼法与读音之间的关系，可以根据英语单词的读音，正确地拼写英语单词。

例如，我们知道元音字母O在重读开音节时读作[+(]根据这条规则，go，hope，home，note等词，不用费什么劲就记住了。

另外还有一条发音规则：在o之后，如果是m，n，v，th时，o可以读作[Λ]。

初三学生根据这条规则，我们不会把mother， some， come，dove，done等英语单词中的o写成u。

音义结合法顾名思义，就是通过联想，在英语单词发音与英语单词词义间建立联系，从而初三学生记住英语单词的方法，也就是俗称的谐音记忆法。

实质上，音义结合法是以谐音的方式赋予英语单词发音意义的一种记忆方法。

音义联想记忆法是最快速、最便捷、最有效的英语单词记忆方法。

例如，bowling n.保龄球，typhoon n 台风(发音相似)，liquid /'lIkwId/ n.液体，液态物。

音译成李逵的，可理解为李逵的最爱——酒(酒即“液体”)。
