Unit 2 I think thatmooncakes are delicious!(第1课时)
Period 1 Section A1 1a – 2d
一、教材分析:
Chinese people have been celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival
andenjoying mooncakes for centuries.中国人已经庆祝中秋节并享受月饼几个世纪了.
二、教学目标:
1、知识与技能目标:了解中、西方节丰富的文化内涵;了解有关中、西方节的知识、民俗、神话传说;感受传统节日的习俗,拓宽知识面。
2、过程与方法目标:培养学生提出问题,主动探究、与他人合作的意识,能够收集利
用信息的能力。
3、情感、态度与价值观目标:激发学生对家乡、对祖国的热爱。
三、教学重点:
感受传统节日的习俗,了解有关中、西方节的知识、民俗、神话传说。
四、教学难点:指导学生在探究过程中提出有分量的问题。
五、教学策略:
课前自学,课上通过多媒体教学,充分展示教学资源,主要了解部分中西方节日。同时学习感叹句、直接引语和间接引语以及现在完成时的用法。
六、教学准备:
教学课件、月饼实物。
七、教学环节:
Step1 Revision and Leading-in
图片导人:教师出示一些介绍中西方重大节日的图片或者幻灯片。这些重大的节日包括:中国的中秋节,春节,西方的圣诞节,万圣节,复活节等等。也可以复习前面所提到的一些节日。教师可以用简洁的英语作介绍,并把生词板书在黑板上,既扫清了生词障碍,又自然地导人到新课。

Step2 Teaching
感叹句是表示喜怒哀乐等强烈感情的句子。一般说来,感叹句是由What 或How来引导的, 句末用感叹句,朗读时用降调。
(一) 由what引导的感叹句what修饰名词或名词短语,有以下两种形式:
1. What+ a(an)+(形容词)+单数可数名词+主语+谓语!
如:What an apple this is!
What a fine day it is!
(二)由How引导的感叹句how用来修饰形容词、副词或动词。其结构是:
1. How+形容词(副词)+主语+谓语!
如:How hard the worker areworking!
How clever the girl is!
How quickly the boy is writing!

1. la.看图片,了解万圣节。教师可以把这些生词重新归类,帮助学生理清一条主线:时间—地点—干什么—如何干。这样学生就对万圣节这个节日一目了然了。
操作案例:
时间:October
地点:western countries,haunted house
事物:black cat,ghost,spider,candy
做什么:dress up,trick or treat
结果:scary 然后要求一两个学生用自己的话复述对万圣节的介绍。
2.lb.听录音,回答问题:
Where isHalloween popular? When do people celebrate
Halloween?
Whatdoes Wu Yu think of this festival?播放听力录音第一遍,学生边听边完成lb。
3. lc.Listen again .Fillin the blanks.
播放听力录音第二遍,学生根据所听内容完成lc.
Step4Classroom activities
学生开展小组活动:谈论万圣节中最让人感兴趣的活动,然后跟同伴一起进行小对话。Think about the Halloweenactivities that
interest you most. Discuss what you have learned with apartner.

B:Oh,I know it’s a popular festival in NorthAmerica and
it's on October 31st. A:What do you like mostabout this festival?
