今天我说课的课题是人教新目标英语 八年级Unit 7 What’s

the highest mountain in the world? Section B(1a-1d)一课时的内容。

《英语课程标准》提出：将学生的发展作为英语课程发展的出发点和归宿，制定了“语言知识、语言技能、情感态度、学习策略、文化意识”五位一体的课程功能，旨在帮助学生掌握学习英语的方法，培养学生终身学习的能力。这套教材采用了任务型语言教学思想（Task Based Language Teaching），强调语言学习的实践性，融汇了话题、交际功能和语言结构于一体，以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序引导学生“为用而学，在用中学，学了就用”。因此，对于这节课，我是这样考虑的：

一、教学内容分析

本单元的中心话题是：地理和自然。Section B在Section A的基础上，通过对自然和文化的比较过渡到了动物这一话题。本节课一方面巩固含有数字的事实描述，另一方面拓展学习更多表示比较的句式，如多倍数的表达。1a通过呈现大象和熊猫的信息，引导学生用比较句型将两种动物进行比较，为后面的听力做铺垫。1b-1c的听力内容主要围绕熊猫宝宝的描述，进一步学习度量的表达。内容浅显，目的让学生感知本单元目标语言和结构，1d是将听到的信息以对话的形式进行输出。 二、学情分析

在Section A学习中，学生学习了大数字的读法和表示度量的结构，积累了一定的目标语言，对于世界地理知识有些了解，根据这一时期学生的认知规律（对有兴趣的内容记得比较好），身心发展特点和知识能力水平的实际情况 （已具有一定听说读写能力）。在继续抓好听说读写这四项基本技能训练的同时，来增强学生语言交际能力、自主探究能力和小组合作学习能力。
