培养孩子克服困难永不放弃的品质,通过过去和现在的对比告诉学生我们可以通过努力变得越来越好。
希望孩子珍惜友谊,毕业不说再见。
二、教学重难点1、教学重点听、说、读、写,并在情景中恰当运用句型以及相关词汇: Before, I... Now, I...谈论或描述自己在性格、爱好、行为方面的变化。
2、教学难点能够正确使用一般过去式和一般现在式这两种时态对比自己过去和现在的变化。
三、教学过程Step 1. Greetings and Warm-up(1)Introduce myself.设计意图:呈现出,现在的自己,为对比老照片做铺垫。
(2)Talk about the teacher’s changes from the old photos. 设计意图:让学生初步感知单词different, 句型Before , I was…Now, I am 意义以及语用情景。
(3)Enjoy my students’class book.设计意图:创设制作班级回忆录的情境Step 2:Presentation(1)Help Mike finish his class book.① Look and predict教师出示对话配的插图,引导学生们预测Mike的改变。
并在预测过程中拓展出wearing的用法。
设计意图:通过引导学生们观察图片,并进行大胆预测和设想,能有效地激发学生们的求知欲和表达欲。

Now, I’m very active in class. I was short, so I couldn’t ride my bike well. 二、教材分析这是本单元的第二课时。
“Let’s learn” 为词汇学习课,通过学习七个单词和词组,来学习如何谈论或描述过去到现在发生的变化。
“Listen, answer and write” 为以上知识的应用。
三、学情分析在五年级上册Unit5/Unit6中,学生学习了There be 句型的(一般现在时)的陈述句、一般疑问句及其回答,在本册Unit2/Unit3学习了动词过去时的规则及不规则变化,并在本单元第一课时中初步学习运用 There be 句型的(一般过去时)谈论过去的事物,本节课将在此基础上学习运用There be 句型谈论或描述过去到现在发生的变化。
(本班学生兴趣度、课堂习惯、自制力、对基础单词和知识点的掌握程度、课堂氛围和学生的思想状况教师可根据实际情况分析。

Main scene通过吴斌斌和他的爷爷、爸爸参观校史博物馆的场景呈现了本单元重要句型和部分词汇,让学生对本单元所学知识有一个初步的了解。
A部分包含Let’s try、Let’s talk、Let’s learn和Find the mistakes四个环节。
此部分主要通过吴斌斌的爷爷和孩子们以及吴斌斌的爸爸和吴斌斌交流学校今昔变化的对话、找错游戏等方式,让学生学习用相关单词和句型描述某个地方过去与现在的状态和变化。
B部分包含Let’s try、Let’s talk、Let’s learn、Listen,match and say、Read and write、Let’s check和Let’s wrap it up七个环节。
本部分主要通过三个孩子谈论老照片的场景以及迈克和吴斌斌谈论季节、运动的喜好变化学习用英语描述以前和现在的生活和爱好的变化,并通过短文阅读、听力练习等方式对本单元所学重点知识进行巩固。
C部分只有Story time一个环节,主要通过情景故事帮助学生巩固本单元所学核心语言,同时拓展一些历史、生物方面的知识。
本单元要求学生运用一般现在时和一般过去时来描述过去与现在的变化,看起来似乎难度较大,但是这两种时态学生都已经学过,因此实际难度并不大。
一般现在时态下的there be句型的陈述句和一般疑问句在五年级也已经学过,为本单元的教学奠定了一定的句型基础,教师在教学时要注意以学生为主,以旧知引出新知,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。
本单元的主题贴近学生的实际生活,因此教师要注意教学设计的生活化,同时充分利用教材设定的情景展开活动,鼓励学生收集资料、大胆发言,积极参与教学活动。

【教学方法】1.角色表演教学法利用Let’s talk 中的对话,学生分角色朗读对话。
在训练学生口语的同时,让学生熟练掌握there be 句型的一般过去时(表示过去存在)的用法。
2.情境教学法教师把以前的旧照片展示给同学,创设情景,让同学根据照片的内容用there was/there were 去描述,理解there was/there were 指过去某地有某物。
教学过程教师批注Step 1:Warm-up1.教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,做简单的Free talk。
2.教师播放四年级下册第一单元Let’s sing—Our school,师生一起唱,创设气氛。
然后回顾学过的有关学校设施的词汇。
