Self-introduction English Essay。
Hello everyone, my name is Emily and I am excited to
introduce myself to you. I am a recent graduate from a top
university in the United States, where I majored in English
literature and minored in creative writing. I am fluent in
both English and Mandarin, and I am passionate about using
language to connect with people from different cultures and
backgrounds.
Growing up, I always loved reading and writing. I would
spend hours lost in the pages of a good book, and I would
create my own stories and poems in my free time. When I
started college, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in
writing or publishing, and I was fortunate enough to have
opportunities to intern at several prestigious publishing
houses and literary agencies.
During my time in college, I also had the chance to study abroad in China for a semester. This experience was
life-changing for me, as I was able to immerse myself in a
completely different culture and language. I learned so
much about myself and about the world, and I came back to
the United States with a renewed sense of purpose and
passion for cross-cultural communication.
In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I
also enjoy volunteering in my community. I have worked with
local literacy programs, where I have helped children and
adults improve their reading and writing skills. I have
also volunteered with organizations that support immigrants
and refugees, where I have used my language skills to help
with translation and interpretation.
As I look to the future, I am excited about the
possibilities that lie ahead. I hope to continue pursuing
my passion for writing and publishing, and I am also
interested in exploring opportunities in the fields of
education and international relations. Whatever path I
choose, I know that I will always be dedicated to using
language to connect with others and make a positive impact in the world.
