Language points

1. Following the reindeer were the Sami people, who made this territory their home,在驯鹿之后来的是萨

米人,他们在这片土地上安家落户。

完全倒装:不需要借助助动词,主语和谓语完全倒置。

(1) 为了强调表语部分,常将作表语的形容词、分词、介词短语置于句首,并把句子的谓语提前构成

全部倒装:形容词/现在分词/过去分词/介词短语+be+主语

Growing ail over the mountains and plains are wild flowers. 漫山遍野长满,野花。

(2) 表示地点的介词短语位于句首,谓语是表示存在意义的动词(be, lie, stand, live, sit, exist),且句子的

主语不是人称代词时,句子用完全倒装。

At the foot of the mountain lies a village, where people still live a peaceful life.

(3) 以here, there, now, then等副词开头的句子,谓语动词是be, come, go, run等词时,用完全倒装。 Here comes the librarians! (4) <4There+be/stand/live/exist/lie/remain/---+主语"也属于全部倒装结构。

There exist different opinions on this question.关于这个问题(人们)有着不同的意见。

(5) 表示运动方向的副词(out, in, up, down, away, off等)置于句首时句子要全部倒装。

In walked a middle-sized, dark-haired, black bearded man.走进来一个中等个、黑头发、黑胡子的人。

***上述需要全部倒装的情况中,主语必须是名词,如果主语是代词则不能全部倒装。

⑴引导原因状语从句,意为" _____________________ ”,相当sinceo

(2) 引导方式状语从句,意为“ __________________ ”。

(3) 引导时间状语从句,意为“ __________________ ”,强调主从句中谓语动词所表示的动作同时进行。

意为“随着 .... ”时,意思与with相同,但with为介词,后面不能跟从句。试比较:

(4) 引导让步状语从句,意为" ___________________ ”,从句要用部分倒装结构,即常把从句中作表语

的形容词或名词、作状语的副词或作谓语的实义动词原形提前。若提前的表语是带冠词的名词,其前

不用冠词。

Child as he is, he knows a lot.他尽管还是个孩子,但却知道很多。(注意:Child前不用冠词)

Difficult as the situation was, nobody had the thought of giving in. 尽管处境困难,但无人想到屈服。
