2.复习重点：

(1)关系代词和关系副词的用法区别。

(2)掌握只能用that引导定语从句的情形。

(3)掌握介词加关系代词的用法。

(4)掌握as和which引导非限制性定语从句的用法。

复习步骤：

Step 1定语从句相关概念：先行词，关系词

Step 2 关系词的分类和用法。

引导定语从句的关联词称为关系词。关系词有关系代词和关系副词。关系代词：who, whom,

whose, which, that, as等；关系副词：where, when, why等。关系词常有三个作用：引导定语从句；代替先行词；在定语从句中充当一个成分。

Step 3. 定语从句常见考点：

考点一:that 与which 的区别

1.先行词被序数词或最高级修饰或先行词本身是序数词,基数词,形容词最高级时;

2.先行词被为all, any, much, little, everything, nothing, something, anything,none, the one等不定代词时;

3.先行词被the only, the very, the last,little, few等词修饰时；

4. 先行词为人和物的组合;

5.若主句中有疑问代词 who 或者 which，为了避免重复, 关系代词不要再用 who, which，而用 that。

考点二:介词+关系代词

关系代词在定语从句中作介词宾语时，从句常常由“介词+关系代词”引出。此时关系代词只能用which (sth)或 whom(sb); 不可用that 或who 代替

介词﹢关系代词引导的定语从句, 关键是判断介词的选择.

方法一:根据从句中动词与先行词习惯搭配

方法二:根据从句中动词与先行词的逻辑关系

考点三 Whose 用法及转换形式

1. whose引导定语从句，其后应紧跟名词。

That’s the child whose father is a teacher.

2.whose引导定语从句，其先行词不仅可以指人，还可以指物。

Do you know the woman whose husband is a doctor?

This is a book whose cover is green.

3. whose的先行词指物时, 可用of which代替,

但词序不同，

即whose+名词=the +n. + of which

=of which + the + n.

He lives in the room whose window faces south.

= He lives in the room, the window of which faces south.

= He lives in the room, of which the window faces south.

考点四：as与which引导的定语从句

两者均可引导非限制性定语从句，有时可以互换，但下列情况多用as。

1. 当与such或the same连用时，一般用as。

e.g. Such books as you tell me are interesting.

I have the same plan as you.

1 比较：He is such a man as everyone respects.( 定语从句 )

He is such a man that everyone respects him.( 状语从句 )

2. as 引导的非限制性定语从句可以放在句首、句中和句末, 本身有“正如…..正象…”之意，主要对整个主句加以补充说明。与之连用的词有 know, see, expect, say, point out 等；which引导非限制性定语从句时，必须放在被修饰的先行词后或主句后。

e.g. As we all know, the earth is round.

= The earth is round, as we know.

I bought a present for my mother, which made her very happy.

考点五: that 与who的区别

在anyone, one, those, he/she/I / they作先行词时, 用”who” 代替 “that”.

Anyone __who___breaks the law is punished.

He _who___ does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man.

考点六:如何判断用关系副词还是关系代词?

通过判断先行词在定语从句中的成分来判断

I will never forget the day __on which___ I first went to school.

I will never forget the day _(that/ which)_________ we spent in Beijing.

The house ___(that/ which)______ we visited is being repaired now.

The house __where____ Luxun once lived is being repaired now.

考点七:定语从句中主谓一致问题

定语从句中的动词在人称和数方面应该与它的先行词保持一致。

1.I am not one who __is____afraid of difficulty．
