【教学目标】
1. 知识目标:

动物和人类都生活在同一地球上,动物是我们的朋友。我们人类应该与动物和谐相处,共同生存。我们应当学会关爱动物,保护动物。
【学习过程】
任务一:Warm up
To create an English environment, the teacher shows the class a picture of a zoo. And ask
some questions about animals:
Do you like to go to the zoo?
Do you like animals?
Then have them to recall the animals they had learned and write them on the blackboard as
he/she can.
( e.g. animals——— tiger, elephant, panda, lion, koala, giraffe)
任务二:What do you think of these animals?
1.What do you think of these animals?
2.学会单词lazy, fierce, lovely, friendly, cute, scary, 3.询问动物来自哪里。
任务三:对话表演PK
1.两人一组,对话练习,操练句型
—Where are they from?
—Australia.
2.分组PK(问这些动物来自哪里)
任务四:练习
1.以小组为单位,学生快速找出对应选项。
2.播放1b部分的录音让学生听,引导学生根据所听到的内容,勾选出动物。
任务五:练习
1.引导学生展开Pair work活动,进行口语交际活动,学会运用Why do you want to see
them?引导的疑问句,用动物的特征来回答,Because they are cute.
2.学生们展开活动,学会用英文表达不同动物的特征。
任务六:听力
1.让学生们先阅读2a部分的句子,理解大意。然后 播放2a部分的录音让学生听,引导学生根据对话内容进行匹配。
(注意提醒学生们听对话填空的技巧:先听、记住应填的内容,做简单的(符号)记录,最后,在听第二遍的时候再进行单词的书写。)
2.再播放2a部分的对话录音让学生听,引导学生写出动物的特性及所在地。
3.学生们再听2a部分的对话录音,写出Julie想要看的动物,完成2b部分的教学任务。
4. Check the answers:
任务七:Pair work
引导学生展开Pair work活动,完成2c部分口语交际的教学任务。
提示学生们可以就1a部分的日常活动来进行问答。e.g.
T: S1, Where are they from?
S1: Most of them are from South Africa.
T: Why don’t you like them?
S1: Because they’re really scary.
任务八:Role—play
1.让学生读2c对话,回答问题。 2.学生阅读对话,回答问题,老师核对问题,讲解。
3.播放录音,学生重复跟读。
4.两人一组,表演对话。

【学习过程】
任务一:Warm up
1.play a guessing game.
Let's play a game: I'll describe one animal to you. Listen carefully and think about what
animal it is.根据描述,猜猜动物是什么。
It lives in China.
It is black and white.
It likes bamboos (竹子).
依次猜出tiger, elephant, panda, lion, koala, giraffe 2.依次回答动物来自哪里?
任务二:句型学习
Make sentences
Tigers are from China.
Pandas are from China.
Lions are from South Africa.
Koalas are from Australia.
Giraffes are from Africa.
任务三:对话表演PK
1.两人一组,对话练习,操练句型
—Why do you like panadas? —Because they’re kind of interesting.
2.分组PK(看哪组读的又快又好)
任务四:语法点学习
1.学生阅读Grammar Focus中的句子,然后做填空练习。

2. Ss finish off the sentences and check the answers by themselves.

任务五:练习
1. Look at 3a. Tell Ss to fill in the blanks with the words from the box. Then practice the
conversation.
2. 阅读指导: 首先,应通读对话的全文,理解大意。可知此对方是在谈论一些动物来自哪里;以及双方所喜欢的动物及原因。其次,应重点阅读每个问答句的意思,根据问句来确定答语中空格的意思或根据答语来确定问句中的意思。再次,还要分析句子的结构看空格处在句子中是什么成份。比如:第一句是一个问句且lions是句子的主语,空格处应是本句的状语,再介词from,可知空格处应填where来对地点提问。
3. 学生们根据上述阅读指导方法,自己认真阅读对话,并将对话内容补全完整。
4. Check the answers.
任务六:Practice
1. Work on 3b. Tell Ss to write the names of animals in the blanks to make sentences that are
true for you. e.g.
I like cats because they are interesting.
I like dogs because they are smart.
I don't like lions because they are scary.
2. Ss work in groups. Discuss and write their sentences.
3. Let some Ss report their likes and dislikes.
