傲慢与偏见读后感英文Pride and Prejudice: A ReflectionPride and Prejudice, written by Jane Austen, is a timeless classic that continues to captivate readers with its portrayal of love, class, and societal expectations. As I delved into the pages of this novel, I found myself immersed in the world of the Bennet family and the complexities of their relationships with the people around them. Through the characters of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, Austen skillfully explores the themes of pride and prejudice, and the impact they have on the lives of those who possess them. One of the most striking aspects of the novel is the way in which Austen delves into the human psyche, revealing the flaws and strengths of her characters with a keen eye. Elizabeth Bennet, in particular, stands out as a strong-willed and independent woman who refuses to conform to the societal norms of her time. Her initial prejudice againstMr. Darcy, based on his perceived arrogance and pride, sets the stage for a tumultuous relationship that undergoes significant transformation throughout the course of the novel. As I followed their journey, I couldn't help but reflect on the ways in which pride and prejudice can blind us to the true nature of those around us.The novel also offers a poignant commentary on the role of social class and wealth in shaping the lives of its characters. The Bennet family's modest means and lack of a male heir serve as a constant source of concern for Mrs. Bennet, who is determined to secure advantageous marriages for her daughters. This emphasis on marriage as a means of securing financial stability and social standing highlights the constraints placed on women in the society of Austen's time. It also serves as a reminder of the enduring influence of class and wealth in shaping humanrelationships and opportunities. As the story unfolds, the complex dynamics between the characters serve as a reflection of the broader societal attitudes of the time. The interactions between the Bennetsisters, for example, reveal the competition and jealousy that can arise within families, particularly when marriage prospects are at stake. Similarly, the interactions between the various suitors and their families shed light on the intricacies of courtship and the pressures faced by both men and women in finding a suitable match. Austen's keen observations of these dynamics serve as a reminder of the enduring relevance of human relationships and the societal forces that shape them.At its core, Pride and Prejudice is a story of personal growth and transformation. As Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy confront their own pride and prejudice, they undergo a process of self-discovery and introspection that ultimately leads to a deeper understanding of themselves and each other. Their journey serves as a powerful reminder of the capacity for change and growth within all of us, and the importance of looking beyond surface appearances to uncover the true nature of those around us.In conclusion, Pride and Prejudice is a novel that continues to resonate with readers for its timelessexploration of love, class, and the human experience. Through its richly drawn characters and astute observations of human nature, Jane Austen offers a compelling reflection on the enduring impact of pride and prejudice on our lives. As I turned the final pages of the novel, I found myself contemplating the ways in which these themes continue to shape our relationships and interactions, and the enduring relevance of Austen's insights into the human condition.。

傲慢与偏见读后感英文作文英文:After reading "Pride and Prejudice", I can't help but feel a sense of admiration for Jane Austen's ability to capture the complexities of human nature and society in her writing. The novel follows the lives of the Bennet sisters as they navigate the rigid social norms and expectations of 19th century England. Through the characters of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, Austen explores the themes of pride, prejudice, and the impact of first impressions. One of the most compelling aspects of the novel for me is the portrayal of pride and prejudice in the characters. Mr. Darcy's initial arrogance and Elizabeth's quick judgments of him serve as a reminder of how easily we can be influenced by our own biases and assumptions. Throughout the story, both characters are forced to confront their own pride and prejudices, leading to personal growth and a deeper understanding of themselves and each other. The novel also highlights the importance of self-awareness and the ability to challenge societal expectations. Elizabeth's refusal to conform to the pressures of marriage and social status, and her insistence on marrying for love rather than convenience, is a powerful example of individual agency in the face of societal norms. This message resonates with me personally, as it serves as a reminder to always stay true to oneself and not be swayed by external pressures.Furthermore, Austen's wit and humor throughout the novel make the social commentary even more engaging. The interactions between the characters, the subtle irony, and the clever dialogue all contribute to a rich and entertaining reading experience. It's fascinating to see how Austen uses humor as a tool to critique the societal norms and values of her time, while also providing insight into the human condition. In conclusion, "Pride and Prejudice" is a timeless classic that continues to resonate with readers today.Austen's exploration of pride, prejudice, and the human experience is both thought-provoking and entertaining. The novel's enduring appeal lies in its ability to capture the complexities of human relationships and societal expectations, making it a truly timeless masterpiece.中文:读完《傲慢与偏见》后,我不禁对简·奥斯汀捕捉人性和社会复杂性的能力感到钦佩。

《傲慢与偏见》英文读后感200字1During the holiday, I read a book called pride and prejudice, which is very good-looking. It makes me feel a lot, and I also feel a lot.Pride and Prejudice is the representative work of Jane Austen, a famous British writer. It describes the emotional entanglement between the arrogant single youth Darcy and the prejudiced second Miss Elizabeth, the wealthy single aristocrat Bingley and the virtuous first Miss Jane. This book makes me realize that people should get along with each other harmoniously and dont misunderstand each other because of a small matter. We should also learn to understand each other, not because of other peoples provocation and constitute harm to others; learn to tolerate each other. Makeour society better. This book also makes me feel that this pair of “arrogance” and “Prejudice” have a happy marriage after many setbacks. We should not give up because of a little setback. We should learn to persist. Persistence is victory!《傲慢与偏见》英文读后感200字2One day, I read a book called pride and prejudice. The author of this book is Austin. She comes from a pastors family. She lives in the countryside of England most of her life, so she knows the local customs very well. Most of her works are from the lives she is familiar with.Pride and Prejudice is mainly about the love story between Darcy and Elizabeth. Elizabeth is Bennetts second daughter, the heroine of the book. She is intelligent, beautiful, intelligent, and eager for true love. Because of the prejudice against Darcy, she easily refused Darcys proposal, which led to many twists and turns in their relationship. At last she got rid of prejudice.Darcy is a young man with rich family and noble title. He was noble in appearance, flexible in mind and kind in heart, and he was very kind even to his enemy, Weiken. However, he isconsidered arrogant because of his bad association with strangers. After accepting Elizabeths criticism modestly, he won Elizabeths love. This let me know that a person cant be arrogant because of his familys wealth, and he cant guess others at will and be prejudiced against others.《傲慢与偏见》英文读后感200字3Pride and Prejudice is the work of Jane Austen, a British woman writer. The scope of this work is only three or four families in a village, with Elizabeth as the main character. The main plot is nothing more than the chat about marriage and property in the front of the fireplace and in the meeting of relatives and friends, the bee chase and butterfly chase in the market, church, dance, banquet and other occasions, and the love talk. The arrogance of Darcy and the prejudice of the heroine all have obvious class attribute. Their frustrations in love are not due to their accidental misunderstanding, but because there is an inevitable gap between the two sides in different class status. Elizabeth, as a middle-class common girl, only by virtue of the charm of her personality and her excellent quality, won the fame and fortune of the noble young master, and finally became a good couple with her. This is another copy of Cinderellas story. The same is true in life. Only by putting down the arrogant attitude, throwing away the prejudiced vision, treating with empathy, and understanding each other through communication, can we know each other. Like Mr. Darcy in the book, although the appearance gives the impression of arrogance, arrogance and superciliousness. But the heart is kind and sincere and willing to let go, its attitude of not stubborn is really appreciated.《傲慢与偏见》英文读后感200字4If we talk about world literature, there must be the name of pride and prejudice, because this book reflects the social values and customs of the whole country with the social feelings of a town, which is a great work. After I borrowed this book from the library, I couldnt help but start to read it. The novel is about a small town in England. Elizabeths mother has been worrying about her daughters marriage. She wants her to marry a rich man and live a life in the upper class in the future. The story begins here. Because of the different classes and concepts, this love is very tortuous However, the ending of the story is satisfactory.Read this book: I despise enisabers mother very much. She is so snobbish and money worship. Human happiness and marriage are not mainly determined by money, but must be based on emotion. In addition, I think the authors literary achievements are very high. Using a small town to epitomize the whole Britain is a very good writing skill and ability.。

She perfectlyreflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave thepeople in her works vivid characters. The characters have their ownpersonalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off herdaughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is avery proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters inBennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evilof others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likesreading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.)Kitty doesn’t have her ownopinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who followsexotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read thebook, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why Ithink this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the18th century. The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favouritetopic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratumsituation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can findthese from the very beginning of this book. The first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truthwell known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a largefortune must be in need of a wife”。
傲慢与偏见英文读后感精彩7篇傲慢与偏见英文版读后感篇一傲慢与偏见英文版读后感It is universally acknowledged that the eternal theme of Jane Austen’s novels is the choice people make for marriage partners, so is in Pride and Prejudice. Mrs. Bonnet had no other wish if her five daughters could get married as soon as possible with someone wealthy. At a dancing ball, it is obvious that Mr. Bingley could not help falling in love at the first sight with Miss Jane because of her stunning beauty. Mrs. Benne was so excited that she could not hold her manner and declared publicly she would have a daughter married soon, which frightened Mr. Bingley away. Mr. Collins, a distance nephew of Mr. Bennet, came to ask a marriage to one of his cousins before Mrs. Bennet was able to get clear why Mr. Bingley left suddenly. After receiving the hint from Mrs. Bennet that Jane already had an admirer, Mr. Collins turned to Elizabeth without wasting a minute and to Miss Charlotte Lucas two days later after refused by Elizabeth. It was difficult for Mrs. Bennet to recover herself as a result of the“deadly stupid” decision made by Elizabeth until she got the news that Lydia finally married Mr. Wickham, though the marriage was built on the basis of ten thousand pounds. Mr. Darcy offered the money and did everything departing from his will just because he loved Elizabeth so much. ()He could not hide his feelings any more and showed his affection to Elizabeth at last, who, because of a series of misunderstandings towards him, rejected him without hesitation. This plot is the climax of the novel as the prejudice of Elizabeth to Mr. Darcy was exposed and removed since then. And the bination of the two young couples, Jane and Bingley, Elizabeth and Darcy came at last.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇二the novel opens with the famous line, "it is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."。

傲慢与偏见英文读后感第2篇: 傲慢与偏见英文读后感第3篇: 傲慢与偏见英文读后感第4篇: 《傲慢与偏见》英文读后感第7篇: 《傲慢与偏见》英文读后感The abbreviation of the novel. This is a story happening in a Bennet.Mr.Bennet, a countryside gentleman in England, had no sons but five girls.According to the law, the girls in Bennet’s could not inherit their father’s fortune but could only get 5,000 pounds as dowry and the poeion was to be inherited by Mr.Bennet’s nephew, Collins,square-toes and good at flattering flattery. So, how to help them marry a rich gentleman was the top agenda to Mrs.Bennet.And when Collins wanted to propose one of the girls in Bennet’and he chose Elizabeth, for the eldest but most beautiful girl, Jane, was not available.Elizabeth refused him and he proposed her close friend, Charlotte .Although Charlotte did not like Collins, she married him for she was already 27.As for Jane, she met a handsome young man with a plenty of money named Mr.Bingley.They felt in love at first sight at a ball.Mr.Bingley showed great paion on Jane, while Jane did not though she did love him.Mr.Darcy, a very good friend of Mr.Bingley, was also a wealthy and attracted young man.At that ball,at first Mr.Darcywas very pride and prejudice to Elizabeth, but after dancing with her ,he felt in love with her.But Elizabeth did not like him because of his air.And Elizabeth treated Mr.Darcy worse because he persuaded Mr.Bingley to give up her sister, Jane.So at the first time when Mr.Darcy proposed, she refused.Lydia, Elizabeth another sister, was too young and innocent to tell a delusion and ran away with a young and handsome military officer,Wickham, who actually was a gambling addicts and had a numerous debt. When Mr.Darcy paid Wickham a lot of money to get Lydia a complete marriage, and managed to make Jane and Mr.Bingley get together, Elizabeth did not misunderstand him anymore and accepted his second proposal.Appreciation‘It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in poeion of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.’The first sentence in the novel and sets the ground and tone for the novel.During that time some people were timeservers and flatters ,hypocritical and stupid, like Mr.s Bennet, while some were smart and independent, like Elizabeth. And this conflict makes the whole story full of humorousne and irony, and the readers think more beyond the lines, making the author outstanding ather age.Apart from that, Jane Austin’s concept of marriage, which we can refer from the lines, is totally different from the convention and has been attracted by the readers over the years.I think, there are two points in her new concept. The first one is that a marriage does need a monetary foundation but more importantly should be built on true love and self esteem. At that time a woman was supposed to marry a rich man although she did not like that man.So that’s why Mrs.Bennet asked Elizabeth to marry Collins. But Elizabeth refused for she did not like him. However, her friend Charlotte chose to married him becauseCharlotte was too old to care about too much although Charlotte was also an acknowledged lady and could not regardle the convention. Therefore,in the author’s eyes, their marriage would not last for long because it was not built on love. So, the marriage, like Elizabeth and Mr.Darcy’s, should be encouraged, and we should be negative about marriage, only built on money, like Collins and Charlotte’s, Lydia and Wickham’s.The second is that women and men should be equal. From Elizabeth turning down Collins and Mr.Darcy,we can see that, in author’s mind, a marriage should not be decided by the man but both ,and women are not the acceories of men’s but should be independent, having their own feelings, voice and decisions. And this can reflect some ideas about Jane Austin’s feminism, which also has madeher distinguish for years.I think this is also suitable for today.Women, having more power than ever, should be more independent not only in marriage but also in the society.
Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy. The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the Bennet. In a ball, Elisabeth gave such a bad impression on Darcy’s first pride that she refused Darcy’s first proposal. Darcy was so surprised by Elisabeth’s refusal that he loved Elisabeth more deeply. And Elisabeth’s antipathy(厌恶,憎恨)made Darcy realize his shortcomings. He was not angry about Elisabeth’s censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. During Elisabeth’s travel in Darcy’s manor(庄园)。
Darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitu de. When one of Elisabeth’s sisters ran away with Wickham, Darcy helped Elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the Bennet. So many changes in Darcy eliminated(消除) Elisabet h’s prejudice. At last it end with their marriage.Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative你(保守派) and blocking England town. It reflected the author’s view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. In fact Darcy’s pride manifested (证明) the gap (间隙,差距)between their statuses(地位)。
Reflection of Pride and Prejudice
I’ve read it during this semester. This book, written by Jane Austen, is published by China International Broadcasting Publishing House in 2010 and has 475 pages.
Jane Austen is an English famous writer. Her compos itions focus on country females’ marriage and their life. She describes her apperceive to the world with her own special perspective and humor words. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote this novel, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively.
The main idea is: Mr. Bennet has five daughters. With the daughters’ grow older, finding husbands for their daughters become Mrs. Bennet’s priority thing. Their family belongs to middle class. Mrs. Bennet is a very vulgar and power person. Their neighbor Charles Bingley is a single man who possesses lots of property. And Mrs. Bennet urges her husband to visit Bingley. In her mind, she has listed him as a son-in-law. At a ball, Mrs. Bennet tries her best to introduce her daughters to rich person actively. Bingley’s friend called Fitzwilliam Darcy, an imposing, wealthy, noble and dignified man. He becomes a focus for many beautiful girls. Mrs. Bennet’s is very eager to introduce her daughters to middle and upper class people. Her behaviors are very comical, and she is like a clown for Mr. Darcy. He feels very disgust with Mrs. Bennet’s behaviors and also looks down upon her. But these girls find Darcy’s shortcomings soon. He takes up with Elisabeth; she is Mrs. B ennet’s second daughter. Because of many complex misunderstands they missed each other. Then, Elisabeth receives a letter from Darcy and they overcome their prejudices to each other. At last they fall in love and Elisabeth’s sisters also find their true lo ve. And the novel ends in a happy atmosphere.
In the eighteenth century, the British Empire is in the peak period. But the British social’s influence spread the whole country. For example, people’s views about snobbishness, vanity and ideas on marriage. The condition of marriage is the man should have a good social position and the woman should have good dowry. So their combination is happy to their family. Everything is based on money and social position during that time. In my opinion, it looks like marriage is a combination of money. But marital relationship is based on respect and affection but not money. The author opposes marry for money and emphasizes importance of marriage.
Austen uses irony art permeates the whole novel and throughout the development of plot. On
the other hand, the language description and the figures’ psychological activity are very picturesque. “It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” The author us es humorous satire exaggerating technique, reflects Mrs. Bennet’s false and deceit. In one word, this book is an illustration of the society at that time.
In this novel, the whole structure is very precise, the figures’ characteristic are distinct and full of their own features. It shows this novel’s unique charming. On the other hand, it reflects the author’s artisti c and ideological content. So it is worth reading.。
