《现代汉语词典》第32页标注为：拜拜：bàibài ①客套话，用于分手时，相当于“再见”。

3.文化程度不高没有接触外语的用“再见”，文化程度较高经常接触外语的易用“拜拜1”。

4.通用语体（正式场合和非正式场合）都可用“再见”，“拜拜1”只用于口语语体，较为“随便”。

5.女性比男性更容易用“拜拜1”。

6.教婴儿的告别语一般都用“拜拜1”，少用“再见”。

7.用“拜拜1”亲切，用“再见”有陌生感与距离感。

诸多的语用差异是“拜拜1”产生的动因和赖以存在的基础。
