SAT考前加油包3——阅读备考包
SAT阅读要求考生在65分钟的时间内完成5篇700字左右的文章，每篇文章10-11题。
1
难点一：取材广泛
阅读部分会涉及四种类型的文章，而每种文章有相应的阅读重点。
1.历史类
考生们首先要熟悉历史类篇章常考的这几类话题，如政体的改革、女权运动的三个重要时期及黑人运动，有了相应的背景知识，有助于更快更透彻的理解文章。
其次对平时所做的练习题进行话题分类，并且积累经典的表达立场的句子和理由。
最后要对文章进行结构分析，确定文章topic、作者立场及观点。
2.科学和社科
这三篇属于议论文或说明文，相对来说结构简单，套路清晰，对这类文章的处理关键在于，对每段的段落主旨句的判断，及段落内和段落间的逻辑关系分析，然后相应的进行详略得当的阅读。
相对来说，文章结构简单，句子不复杂，建议做题时优先完成。
3.文学类
小说难点在于叙述故事过程中穿插着比较多的心里描写或者背景描写等。
首先要能够确定其中的人物及人物关系；其次对文章进行结构划分，能够区分出context和story两条主线，那么围绕着这两条主线有着各自常考的类型题目，比如关于context的题目，会有两种形式，一问context作用，二问文章结构shift的题目。
最后就是story主线中需要关注的，比如时间的变化（had been ）, 情感变化，及出现转折词处。

难点二：快速阅读
1. 段落阅读方法——精读主旨，略读细节
主旨句一般出现在段落中首尾及转折句，阅读过程尤其注意段落中出现转折词（but），时间
对比词（now），因果（thus）及递进（moreover）等出现的句子，这些句子都是阅读过程中要重点精读的。
那么细节句主要是例子，引用、人名及数字出现的位置，这些阅读过程中略读即可。
2. 排比句略读
只读一句，同样重复的信息，没有必要全部读完，因为态度相同，而且是对同一问题解释，如：
Is it not apparent, that their delicate constitutions, their peaceful inclinations, and the many duties of motherhood, set them apart from strenuous habits and onerous duties, and summon them to gentle occupations and the cares of the home? And is it not evident that the great conserving principle of Societies, which makes the division of powers a source of harmony, has been expressed and revealed by nature itself, when it divided the functions of the two sexes in so obviously distinct a manner?
3. Study过程略读，详读结论和评价。
一般在社科和科学的文章会出现研究求证，对于多段的实验过程叙述，简单了解即可。

难点三：熟悉题型的解题思路
SAT阅读考试中有些题目的解题思路比较独特，比如作用题（单词作用题和句子作用题）、循证题（定位点的判断依据）、推断题及双篇题。
所以考前同学们要好好复习笔记，要对每种类型题目的解题思路熟练掌握和应用。
例：
单词作用题：词义及态度、词汇在原文中所描述的对象

A general air of surprise and genuine satisfaction fell upon every one as they saw the pianist enter. There was a settling down, and a prevailing air of expectancy everywhere.
题目中的satisfaction和expectancy是正向态度，表示满足和期待的意思；另外在原文中所描述的对象是everyone，也就是在场的听众们，那么根据这两个条件进行选择，答案就是A选项。
