Unit5 Theme parks教学设计
(一) 教学目标
1. 知识目标:阅读文章后,大部分学生能够归纳出三大主题公园的主题并列出园内的主要活动。
2. 技能目标: 学生能够匹配图片与相应的主题公园,并恰当使用课文中的关键词汇和句型陈述理由。通过拓展阅读与小组合作,学生能够设计出一个简单的主题公园。
3. 情感态度与价值观:通过本节课的学习,学生能够有较强的自信心自如地陈述自己的观点,并鼓励学生积极想象、培养创新能力。
(二)教材内容分析
1.这节课使用的是全日制普通高中课程标准实验教科书。这套教材是在任务型语言教学理念的基础上编写的,它以话题为主线,贴近学生生活,贴近真实的教学行为。它的语言教学理念是强调语言的应用、促进学生自主学习,发展学习的策略,培养创新精神,突出实践能力。
2.本单元通过THEME PARKS---FUN AND MORE THAN FUN这篇文章,围绕Theme parks这一主题开展听、说、读、写多种教学活动。单元语言素材涉及摩天轮、旋转木马、过山车、蹦极运动、自由落体车、赛车等娱乐方式及各类主题公园内容,具有典型的时代气息,有利于学生了解生活、运动与休闲,了解中外文化,增强世界意识,有利于培养积极的生活态度。对本单元的教学,我们可以从学生身边的或熟知的主题公园谈起,帮助学生对这一话题有比较全面的了解。
3.本课是Module 4 Unit 5 Theme parks中的warming up 、pre-reading、 reading和comprehending. 它是第五单元的第一课时,它以Theme parks为中心话题,围绕着区分主题公园与一般公园的异同、主题公园的起源、发展和特点以及世界著名的主题公园及其主题。
4.根据《新课程标准》总目标的描述,结合高一学生实际和本单元的内容,按照语言知识、语言技能、学习策略、情感态度、文化意识五个方面把本节课的教学目标系统化。
(三)学生分析
高中生注意力具有一定的稳定性;观察具有一定的目的性,系统性和全面性;初步完成了从具体思维到抽象思维的过渡。喜欢富有个性的教学设计,已不满足老师对教材的简单重复与重现;同时,自我意识增强,不但在乎别人对自己的评价,更渴望得到关注和赞赏。
高中学生普遍感到英语难学,受这种思想的影响,老师满堂灌的教学会使学生感到乏味,并且记忆不牢。结果导致很多学生死的语法知识学了不少,可是综合运用语言的能力却极度低下。
因此,设计这节课时,我抓住它们的这些特点,以朋友的身份走进他们,以基础的语言启发他们,消除他们的心理障碍,以轻松的谈话开始,以愉快的交流展开合作,以快乐的约定来结束这节课。
(四)教材重点、难点分析
难点:把握段落大意;培养学生的阅读策略,使其形成预测,略读和跳读的能力,但学
2 生有可能在深层理解的问题上有困难。帮助学生大胆的说,大胆的用语言表达自己的观点,引导学生把零散的语言材料形成表达流畅、符合英语习惯的短文。
(五)教学策略分析
1.开放式教学策略。以有限的课堂为载体,带学生进入广阔的知识天地。
2.引趣激趣策略。创设多种情景激发学生的兴趣,引导学生积极参与。
3.任务型活动策略。设计各种活动,以达到在做中学,在做中练,在做中巩固的目的。
4.学生为中心策略。在课堂活动中,学生是活动的主体,老师起辅助、指导、监督的作用。

Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Warming up
T: Class begins! Good morning, everyone.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
T: Sit down, please. Boys and girls, first, I’d like to ask you a
question: Where do you usually go in weekend?
S1: I often watch TV at home or go to parks.
T: Good. Do you like going to parks? So today we are going to visit
some parks. At the beginning of our class, I’ve got a group of
pictures for you. Please look at these pictures carefully, and tell me
what are these parks and what can people do there?
(Enjoy a group of pictures)
T: Isn’t beautiful? Do you know what these parks are?
T: Yeah, right. These are common parks that around us. Have you
ever been to these parks?
Ss: Yes.
T: Why do you go there? What kind of activities do people do in a
common park?

Now, boys and girls. Have you ever heard Disneyland? It is a

S: I think Disneyland is a theme park. People can meet cartoon
characters, enjoy some plays or take roller-coaster there.
T: Good job. Now we have known what a common park is and
what a theme park is, what are the differences between a theme
park and an ordinary park?
