How to Make Free Time Fun for Kids

Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 4th grader. A lot of

kids my age spend their free time just watching TV, playing video

games or being on their phones and tablets. I used to do that a

lot too until my parents helped me find some really cool

activities to fill my free time outside of school. Now my days are

way more fun and interesting!

The first thing I got into was joining a sports team. I chose

soccer because I loved running around and kicking the ball.

Playing a team sport is awesome for making new friends,

learning about teamwork, and of course, getting exercise.
