英语我的课余生活作文

My Extracurricular Life。

As a student, my life is not only filled with classes

and homework, but also with various extracurricular

activities that enrich my life and help me develop

different skills. In this essay, I will share with you my

extracurricular life and how it has shaped me into a well-rounded individual.

One of the extracurricular activities that I am

involved in is playing the piano. I have been playing the

piano since I was a child, and it has become a big part of

my life. I spend hours practicing and perfecting my skills,

and I have even competed in several piano competitions.

Playing the piano has not only helped me improve my musical

abilities, but it has also taught me discipline and

perseverance. I have learned that with hard work and

dedication, I can achieve my goals.

Another extracurricular activity that I enjoy is

volunteering at a local animal shelter. I have always had a

passion for animals, and volunteering at the shelter allows

me to give back to the community and make a difference in

the lives of animals in need. I help feed and care for the

animals, clean their cages, and take them for walks.

Volunteering at the shelter has taught me compassion and

empathy, and it has shown me the importance of helping

those who are less fortunate.

In addition to playing the piano and volunteering at

the animal shelter, I am also a member of the school debate

team. Debating has helped me improve my public speaking

skills and critical thinking abilities. I have learned how

to research and analyze different topics, form persuasive

arguments, and communicate my ideas effectively. Debating

has also helped me become more confident and articulate,

and it has given me the opportunity to meet and connect

with students from different schools.

Overall, my extracurricular activities have had a

positive impact on my life and have helped me grow as a person. They have taught me valuable skills such as

discipline, perseverance, compassion, and critical thinking,

and they have allowed me to explore my interests and

passions. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have

had to participate in these activities, and I look forward

to continuing to learn and grow through my extracurricular

pursuits.

How to Make Free Time Fun for Kids

Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 4th grader. A lot of

kids my age spend their free time just watching TV, playing video

games or being on their phones and tablets. I used to do that a

lot too until my parents helped me find some really cool

activities to fill my free time outside of school. Now my days are

way more fun and interesting!

The first thing I got into was joining a sports team. I chose

soccer because I loved running around and kicking the ball.

Playing a team sport is awesome for making new friends,

learning about teamwork, and of course, getting exercise.
