本单元教学重难点是：用“What do / does...do at weekends?” “I / They / He / She

always / usually / often / sometimes...”询问或介绍某人的周末活动；频率副词always,

usually, often和sometimes 的区分及正确的用法。教学的过程中，通过学习文本、视频冲击的方式、看图说话、互动交流、游戏等活动自然感受周末活动带来的“乐趣”，并合理地选择频率副词结合句型进行周末活动的描述。

三、单元内容分析

本单元围绕周末活动话题涉及9个语篇，包括三组对话、一个图表、一个图示、一首韵律诗、一个配图说明、一个调查表、一个非完整的配图短文等。

Story time是一组日常对话，主要讲述放学的路上，Mike和Su Hai在聊周末活动的话题。Su Hai通常在周末和妹妹Su Yang一起去看望祖父母，而Mike则周末在网络上和远在英国的祖父母聊天。Mike在周末通常和Liu Tao踢足球，有时也会和家人去公园放风筝和野餐。Mike还介绍了他的妹妹Helen的周末活动。该语篇旨在以熟悉的教材上的老朋友谈论自己的周末活动、特点、意义等提供给学生学习的言语材料，为构建学习活动场域做铺垫，在互动交流中自然感受周末活动带来的“乐趣”。引导学生初步感知频率副词always, usually, often, sometimes, 并知道其中文意思等，在互动中初步运用本单元重点句型。
