Step 1 情景导入

The teacher points at a girl in the classroom and asks:

Teacher:Where are you?

Student 1:I am in the classroom...

Teacher:What are you doing?

Student 1:I am answering your questions.

The teacher writes “What are you doing?”on the blackboard and asks

in Chinese:这是什么时态?引导学生回答,复习现在进行时态的意义及结构。再问这位学生:“What were you doing when I came in?”,引入过去进行时态,板书课题,引出本节课的教学任务。

环节说明:以旧带新,由学过的现在进行时态引出过去进行时态,易于学生理解,降低学习难度,便于引起学生的学习兴趣。

Step 2 完成教材1a­1c的任务

1.自主大声朗读1a中的句子,然后两人一组互相朗读翻译。(3分钟)。

2.认真观察1a中的图片,将图片和句子匹配,完成后集体核对答案。(2分钟)

3.学生齐读1b中的短语,为听力做好准备。(2分钟) 3

4.听录音,在1b中圈出你所听到的回答,集体核对答案。(3分钟)

5.再听一遍录音,并跟读对话。(2分钟)

6.结对练习1c中的对话,并请一些学生表演出他们的对话。(3分钟)

7.模仿1c中的对话,用1b听力材料中的信息与同伴编练新对话,并邀请几组学生表演对话。(5分钟)

Step 5 问题探究

1.过去进行时态

①那个时候我正在看电视。I_was_watching_TV_at_that_time.

这是过去进行时态的简单句形式,过去进行时表示在过去某一时间内正在进行或持续进行的动作。其结构为:主语+be的过去式+动词的现在分词+其他。其中be随主语的人称和数的变化而变化。当主语是第一人称或第三人称单数时用was,主语是第二人称或第一、三人称复数时用were.

2.when 和while的用法

① 当我看到玛丽的时候她正在吃饭。

When_I_saw_Mary,she_was_eating.

② Linda睡觉的时候Jenny正在做什么?

What_was_Jenny_doing_while_Linda_was_sleeping?
