而现在，应用和工作区已经被分成独立个体。

这就意味着，从用户的角度，整个的工作区可以被上传、保存和关闭，并不用关闭其中的应用文件。

一个工作区可以放多个项目，包括模型库和案例，以及有自己独立的设置选项。

如果你同时有多个研究项目，所有跟研究相关的项目会放在一个单独的工作区，你可以调进或调出任何应用文件。

但同时只能加载一个工作区。

你一进入V4.5.0的软件界面，就会出现一个叫Untitled的工作区，并默认包含了一个主库项目。

关闭应用文件后，PSCAD会记录你上一次加载的工作区，所以当你决定不使用多个工作区的功能时，你继续在默认的Untitled工作区操作即可。

工作区文件以扩展名*.pswx来保存。
