6.2.3 兼动名词结构在句中的位置
兼动名词结构还可以出现在句中多个位置，作宾语、 主语、表语、同位语、状语等句子成分。

这类形容词短语结构常用在 be, become,
seem等系动词之后。如果系动词是 be,
become, 可撇开不管，直接把形容词汉译成动
词；如果系动词是seem，可译其含义，再把形
容词译成动词，让seem作为状语，置于动词前。
例1: I am content with my work.
【译文】我很满意我的工作。

【译文】她嫉妒你的美丽。

12.1.1 反话正说，否定译肯定
英语中有一些否定句，可根据词句的涵义、 逻辑关系，按汉语表达习惯，把否定译肯定，才 符合汉语思维和行文习惯。

C.“主—谓—宾”结构（S-V-O
structure）
“主-谓-宾”结构的英语句子，也可转换成“兼动名词+ 介词+名（代）词”的兼动名词结构，只是在其兼动名词结构 前加上一个物主代词作为逻辑主语。例如：
① I study English. → my study of English ② She visits Qingdao. → her visit to Qingdao ③ He possessed good fortune. → his possession of good fortune ④ He refused the invitation. → his refusal of the invitation ⑤ Premier Zhou received the foreign guests. →Premier Zhou’s reception of the foreign guests
英语兼动名词，亦称“动作性名词”。 兼动名词结构常见形式是：
兼动名词 + 介词 + 名（代）词 即：v.-n.+ prep.+ n.( pron.)
在英汉翻译中，兼动名词结构可同汉语的 “动—宾”结构相互转换，即把英语的名词转 译成汉语的动词，把介词后的宾语汉译成宾语， 或把整个兼动名词结构译成汉语的动宾结构。
