一、 教材内容分析(Analysis of the teaching material)
1. 教学内容:
阅读课文What’s So Funny?
2. 教学内容分析:
本单元的中心话题是“笑”,内容涉及到“喜剧明星”、“幽默故事”、“个人趣文轶事”等。在第一课时里,学生已经围绕中心话题开展了谈喜剧明星、说经典小笑话的热身活动,为阅读做了很好的铺垫。本节课是本单元的第二版块,主要向学生展示了三篇趣味故事:家庭和谐、检查你的拼写、失忆。通过阅读,学生可以了解如何欣赏英语幽默故事,懂得生活中幽默的重要性— 帮助减轻工作或学习压力, 通过欣赏笑话、趣味故事,培养个人幽默感。同时,也为后面写个人趣闻轶事奠定了一定的基础。
二、 设计思想(Designing ideas)
1. 根据《高中英语教学大纲》的要求,在课堂教学中,必须以学生为主体、为中心进行教学,教师在教学中起主导作用。因此我采用任务型教学方式,每一部分都设有一定的任务,引导学生自主或合作完成。教学过程由四张喜剧明星图片开始,由此展开讨论他们的幽默语言和欣赏两篇小幽默。热生之后引入本课三篇幽默故事。阅读活动由整体入手,由易到难,步步推进,层层深入。其中有根据上下文猜词游戏。接着进行听力活动,旨在巩固所学词汇和进一步了解文章故事。讨论部分旨在引导学生对三篇故事做简单评价,表达自己对幽默故事的看法,尝试着说出自己的有趣故事。在讨论的基础上引导学生动手写。整个教学活动以教材为载体,以学生为中心。学生参与活动贯穿始终。学生既有个人活动,又有小组活动和班级活动。
2. 运用交际手段,培养学生能力。绝大部分学生主要是在课堂上学习英语,而在现实生活中缺少语言交际的环境和场所。从语言学角度来看,语言是人与人之间最常用最有效最重要的一种交通工具。交际能力是指在真实的情景中运用语言进行听说读写、交流信息和思想感情的能力。在教学中我努力创设和提供情景操练的机会,尽可能的将真实生活搬进课堂,注意在教学中为学生创设语言交际的环境。同时,还注意到交际是双向的,是说者和听着双向交流思想的过程。在这一过程中,双边地位是不断发生变化,互相转换的。所以,尝试着将上课开始教师问学生答的free talk模式改为放手让学生互相问答,自由对话。
