Module 6 Unit 1 ArtReading 教学设计一、教学内容分析本节课是人教课标版Module 6第一单元的Reading部分。

单元话题是Art, 主要介绍了西方绘画简史,描写了曼哈顿最好的艺术长廊。

帮助学生了解更多有关美术的背景知识,分析中西方艺术史上各大流派的特点,指出其代表性的画家和作品,并对中西方绘画艺术进行比较。

最后要求学生为当地举办的一场别开生面的画展提出合理化建议。

Warming Up部分要求学生运用相关的目标语言对自己所喜欢的艺术形式和艺术流派展开讨论,并说明喜欢的原因。

Pre-reading让学生讨论有关画展或书中的艺术作品以及西方不同历史时期的著名画家。

Reading介绍了西方绘画简史上不同历史时期的艺术流派、艺术特点及其代表性的画家和作品等。

Comprehending要求学生在理解课文的基础上,写出三件有关西方艺术史的事并指出西方艺术风格变化大的原因。

二、学生学情分析本单元的话题“Art”是学生熟悉的,作为高二学生,他们具备一定的背景知识,包括中国著名的画家和画作,相对而言,他们对西方艺术了解得还不够深入。

在课堂活动的准备和参与方面,他们都能表现出一定的积极主动性。

他们也渴望更多地了解西方的艺术,并能够就艺术这个话题展开讨论,发表个人的意见和看法。

三、设计说明由于Warming Up, Pre-reading, Reading和Comprehending四部分都是关于西方绘画简史的内容,可以整合为一节阅读精读课。

在阅读教学中通过设计活动、任务完成、互助探究等,结合新课标对学生能力的要求,兼顾多种能力的培养设计成了一节阅读精读课。

四、教学目标1. What is art in your opinion? (Cooperative learning)2. Can you list some forms of art? (Brainstorm)Students will give different forms of art: dance, music, sculpture, architecture, movie, literature, calligraphy(书法), painting. (Show different pictures of these various forms of art)设计意图:我们知道兴趣多是由疑惑和好奇心所激发出来的。

正对这个实际,结合单元的话题“艺术”,通过问答和合作性学习,旨在激发学生思维,充分调动其积极主动性,为下面的阅读做好准备,从而达到“一石激起千层浪”的效果。

这样的导入自然流畅,气氛比较热烈,学生能够大胆表述意见,积极参与课堂活动。

Step 2 Pre-readingTeaching objectives:To enable the students to have a clear idea of different forms of art and difference between Chinese painting and western painting. 设计意图:经过前面的简介以及学生的常识积累,这个竞争活动就显得比较激烈,男生女生都争先恐后展示自己的能力,大大启发了他们的思维。

后面的艺术欣赏,实际上是让他们更加熟悉中国的本土文化艺术,也是他们非常熟悉的,最后在总结中西方艺术的差异。

全班同学都积极思考,不甘落后,课堂参与性与互动性非常好,完全可以达到预期的目的。

Step 4 Detailed readingTeaching objectives:To let the students learn more details about the Western art so as to finish the task more easily. Teaching activities:设计意图:利用所学过的阅读策略,在了解大意之后,从时间顺序来了解西方艺术发展的四个阶段,把握每个阶段的显著特点和代表人物。
