Ⅰ. Material analysis

Section A的主要教学活动为1a, 2b和3。

本节课主要学习形容词的比较级、最高级这一重点语法，它是本话题的重点也是难点，建议至少用两节课完成Section A 的教学。

本节课通过Michael 和Wang Wei 的对话，引出农村和城市的对比，最终学习本节课以及整个话题的重点：形容词的比较级和最高级。课本中设计了农村和城市对比的图片和农场里各种不同的动物的图片，这些跟日常生活密切相关，能引起学生的联想和兴趣。在设计这堂课的时候，教师可以根据实际情况，增加模拟真实的情景让学生有更加真实的感受，在活动中自然习得语言。

Ⅱ. Teaching aims

Knowledge aims：

1. 能根据音标正确拼读并运用单词表中的黑体单词, 如: sky, river, clear, beauty, nature,

horse, sheep等。

2. 能正确地拼写本课新词，根据对比或者联想记忆单词，如：sky-blue, river-clear等。

3. 能正确地运用比较级和最高级来分层描述物体。

4. 能运用本课所学语言，对比物体，学会正确客观看待某件事物。

Skill aims：

1. 能听懂有关农村和城市对比的话题，并能听懂熟悉的事物之间的比较。

2. 能正确地用比较级和最高级谈论一组事物。

3. 能正确朗读课本的文本材料，读懂用比较级和最高级描述的句子。

4. 能正确地用比较级和最高级写出事物之间的对比。

Emotional aims：

培养学生正确看待事物的能力，教育学生任何事物都有两面性，对于学习不能骄傲，也

不必气馁，凡事都得用发展的眼光去看待。

3. Learn the future tense with be going to:

Topic 1 What’s the strongest animal on the farm?

教学内容分析及课时分配建议：

本单元以Our World 为主题。第一话题主要围绕谈论动物、植物、人与自然的关系等内容展开，主要语法是形容词的比较级和最高级。主要句型有：The countryside is much quieter

than the city. , Roses are the nicest of all the flowers., Which do you like better,…

or …? What kind of animals do you like better, foxes or snakes? I like …better/best.等。同时本话题还复习了询问喜好及表达原因的句型。此外， 在语音部分继续学习元音字母a，e，o以及字母组合oo，ow，ee在单词中的发音规则，同时还学习了辅音/r/和/l/的不同以及句子的停顿。最后的Project里，以Saving the Animals in Danger 为主题，不仅锻炼学生搜集信息和处理信息的能力，同时为学生发现问题和解决问题提供了机会。

本话题建议用五课时完成。

第一课时：Section A—1a,1b,1c

第二课时：Section B—3 Section A—2a, 2b, 3

第三课时：Section B—1a, 1b, 1c, 2, 4a, 4b

第四课时：Section C—1a, 1b,1c, 2

第五课时：Section D—Grammar and functions, 1, 2, Project

第四课时（Section C—1a, 1b,1c, 2）

教学设计思路：

本节课主要活动为Section C-3和Section D-2。

本节课的课型为阅读课，主要活动是1a。Revision环节给出几组图片进行关于喜好及其原因的问答。复习形容词的比较级和最高级和询问偏好的表达法。Pre-reading环节利用图片讨论热带雨林，学习新词汇，降低阅读难度。因词汇较多较难，所以将新词汇编成填空题加以巩固。while-reading分几步完成。先速读课文，核对读前预测题的答案，了解文章大意。然后精读课文，完成1b。再读课文，讨论1c的2-4小题。最后通过自己划出重点，同桌交流和教师重点点拨的方式解决课文的重难点。post-reading是对课文的巩固和语言的输出。先将课文改成短文填空，在重点词和短语处挖空。然后根据1b表格，复述课文。向同桌讲述热带雨林的知识。最后结合2，讨论1c-5题，完成书面表达的任务。Homework：1. 收集一种最喜欢的动物的信息。明日课前交流。2. 收集一些濒危动物的信息，为下节课的书面表达做准备。
