1Becoming a Volunteer: A Big Dream for a Small PersonHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 9 years old. I go to Oakwood Elementary School and I'm in 4th grade. I love reading, riding my bike, and spending time with my friends and family. But you know what I really love? Helping others! That's why I want to become a volunteer.Ever since I was a tiny kid, my parents taught me how important it is to be kind and give back to the community. They always say that no matter how little you are, you can still make a big difference in the world. And I really believe that!Last year, my class did a food drive for the local food bank. We made posters and went door-to-door collecting cans and boxes of food. I was amazed at how many people gave donations, and it felt so good to know we were helping families who didn't have enough to eat. When we dropped off all the food at the food bank, the lady working there gave me a big hugand said "Thank you for your hard work!" That hug made me happier than you could ever imagine. After that, I started paying more attention to all the different organizations and places that use volunteers to help people in need. There are so many opportunities out there! You can volunteer at animal shelters, hospitals, nursing homes, parks, libraries, and more. Volunteers play games with sick kids to cheer them up, they read books to the elderly, they pick up litter to keep our neighborhoods clean. The ways you can volunteer are endless!I've been pestering my mom and dad to let me start volunteering for ages now. I'm a really hard worker and I can follow rules to a T. Plus, I have a huge heart and I genuinely care about making the world a kinder, happier place for everyone. I'm a pretty smart kid too - I get good grades and I'm always willing to learn new things. My parents keep saying I'm too young still, but I think age is just a number. Some of the most generous and selfless people I know are kids! We might be little, but we have big spirits. And kids can do so many amazing things when we put our minds to it. Just look at kids like Greta Thunberg who is fighting so hard to protect the environment at only 16 years old. Or kids raisingthousands of dollars for important causes by starting lemonade stands or bake sales. We're pint-sized but we're powerful!I have so many ideas for volunteering opportunities I'd love to try. I could spend time at a nursing home visiting with the residents and keeping them company. Maybe I could read them books or poems, or just listen to their stories from the past. I love hearing wise tales from elders! Or I could volunteer as a park ranger assistant and help pick up litter or distribute information about sustainable practices. Ooh, or I could be a foster buddy and help take care of unwanted dogs and cats until their forever families can adopt them. My heart melts for those sweet homeless pets! The possibilities are endless when it comes to kid volunteers. We can be crafters making homemade cards for sick children. We can be tutors and mentors for other kids who need some extra academic support. We can be food preparers helping cook and deliver meals for the homeless population. Wherever an extra set of hands and a caring heart is needed, a kid volunteer like me can step in to assist.I know I'm still just a kid, but that's exactly why I should start volunteering now. If I can learn the value of generosity and community service at a young age, those lessons will stick withme for life. It'll become second nature to lend a hand and put others before myself. By middle school and high school, I'll be an expert volunteer with so much experience under my belt!Grown ups are always saying that the youth are the future. Well, I want that future to be filled with kindness, selflessness, and kids (and adults!) who are enthusiastic about making their mark on the world by volunteering. It doesn't matter how small you are or how young you are - what matters is the size of your heart and your willingness to help however you can.So please, let me start volunteering now! I'm a responsible young lady who can follow rules and instructions. I have a caring spirit and I'm driven to make a positive impact. I might be little, but my volunteer ambitions are massive. Just give me a chance to prove that kids can change the world one good deed at a time. With the right opportunity篇2Becoming a Volunteer: A Young Student's DreamHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I'm writing this essay to tell you why I really, really want to become a volunteer. It's been my big dream ever since I was a little kid.You see, helping others makes me feel simply wonderful inside. Whenever I get a chance to lend a hand, I get this warm, tingly feeling spreading through my chest. It's like a mini sun is glowing in my heart! I know that might sound cheesy, but it's true.Last year, my class did a toy drive for kids who don't have many toys. We all brought in old toys from home that we didn't play with anymore. I gave away my Teddy bear that I've had since I was a baby. At first, I felt a little sad to see him go. But then I imagined some other little boy or girl getting to snuggle up with him at night, and a huge smile spread across my face. Just picturing their joy gave me that warm, glowing feeling.Another time, I helped my mom bake cookies for a bake sale raising money for the animal shelter. Getting to crack the eggs and mix the batter was so much fun! But the best part was picturing all the homeless dogs and cats getting yummy treats with the money we raised. I could totally imagine their wagging tails and wet puppy kisses.Whenever there's an opportunity to volunteer or help others, I raise my hand as high as I possibly can. "Pick me! Pick me!" I'll shout to my teacher. I just can't get enough of that incredible feeling of making someone else's day a little bit brighter. My big dream is to one day volunteer at a hospital, nursing home, or anywhere there are people who really need some extra kindness and cheer. I want to go room to room passing out stickers, telling jokes, and letting everyone know they're cared about. With my bubbly personality, I know I could add some sunshine to their day!For example, I would go up to an elderly person and introduce myself all smiley: "Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm your friendly neighborhood volunteer! What's your name?" And then I'd put on a silly voice and say, "No no no, let me guess your name...is it...Pam the Panda? No? OK, then it must be...Steve the Narwhal!" Hopefully I'd get a laugh out of them. Then I might hand them a sticker with a goofy face on it and say, "This sticker's for you! You've already made my day brighter just by letting me meet you." I can picture them smiling that sweet, toothless smile as they peel off the sticker and stick it to their shirt. Score! One more person feeling special and loved.Volunteering doesn't just make others happy - it makes me happy too. It's my absolute favorite thing in the whole world. I'm positive that if I got the chance to start volunteering regularly, I would wake up with a smile on my face every single morning. I'dpractically be skipping out the door, so eager to go spread some joy!You should see how excited I get even talking and thinking about it. My face gets all flushed, my eyes grow huge and sparkly, and I can barely sit still in my chair. I'm wiggling around jitterbug style just writing this essay! I have a whole lotta love and energy to give.So that's why I really, really, REALLY hope I get picked to be a volunteer. It would honestly make my wildest dreams come true.I was built for this! Bringing smiles to people's faces and warming their hearts is just what I was made to do.Please, please, please pick me! I may be just a kid, but I have a gigantic heart full of compassion that I need to share with the world. Let me go out there and be a bright little beacon of sunshine and happiness. The world could definitely use more of that, don't you think? Pick me, pick me!篇3Becoming a VolunteerHi, my name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. I really want to become a volunteer because I think it's important to help othersand make the world a better place. My parents always tell me that no matter how little you are, you can still make a big difference if you care about something. There are so many great reasons to volunteer! First of all, it feels good to do something kind for other people. Whenever I hold the door open for someone or offer them my seat on the bus, I get this warm fuzzy feeling inside. Volunteering lets me do that times a hundred! I can spend my time actively making people's lives easier and brighter. How awesome is that?Volunteering is also a fantastic way to learn new skills. Maybe I'll get to practice my math by helping little kids with their homework. Or I could learn all about gardening if I volunteer at a community garden. There's no limit to the new talents I could pick up by pitching in. And since I love trying new things, that's really exciting for me.Another reason I want to volunteer is because I think it will help me become a more responsible and mature person. Having people rely on me to show up and do an important job would push me to be my best self. I would have to manage my time well, be punctual, and give 100% effort to whatever task I was doing. Those are such vital life skills that volunteering could really help me develop.I'm also really curious to learn about different cultures and walks of life through volunteering. Maybe I could help serve food at a soup kitchen and meet some homeless people. Or if I volunteered at a nursing home, I'd get to interact with elderly folks and hear their amazing life stories. Getting exposed to all those diverse perspectives would help me become a more understanding and open-minded person. Finally, volunteering seems like it would just be super fun! I could make a whole new group of friends who also care about helping their community. We could work together as a team to accomplish cool projects and make our neighborhood cleaner, greener, and safer. And who knows, maybe I'll get the opportunity to walk dogs from an animal shelter or play games with kids at a hospital. How cool would that be?Some people might say that kids are too young to volunteer, but I completely disagree. We may be little, but we have endless energy, creativity, and most importantly -- heart. With the right training and supervision, I know kids like me could contribute so much through volunteering. We're the future of this world, so we need to practice pitching in and giving back as early as possible.I think I would be an amazing volunteer because I'mhard-working, responsible, and truly care about making adifference. I'm bubbling over with fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Just give me a chance, and I'll WOW you with my positive attitude and dedication to any task! I have so much love, kindness, and helpfulness to share with my community. In conclusion, volunteering would be an incredibly rewarding experience for me. It would make me a better person, teach me invaluable lessons, and let me put my values into action. I desperately want to start giving back and playing an active role in creating a happier world. Pretty please let me be a volunteer - I was born ready to help!篇4My Dream to Be a VolunteerHello! My name is Emma, and I am 9 years old. I go to Parkview Elementary School. I love learning new things, playing outside with my friends, and spending time with my family. But most of all, I really want to be a volunteer!Ever since I was little, my mom and dad have taught me how important it is to help others. They always say that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life. That's why I try my best to be a good friend, student, and daughter. But I want to do more!Last year, my class went on a field trip to the animal shelter. I was so sad to see all those poor dogs and cats who didn't have a real home. The nice people working there told us that they rely on volunteers to help take care of the animals by feeding them, playing with them, and even bathing them sometimes! From that day on, I knew I wanted to volunteer at the animal shelter. My parents said I was still a little too young, but that maybe when I turned 10 I could apply to volunteer if I kept my grades up and did my chores without being asked. That lit a fire inside me! I worked so hard all year long. My teacher even commented on my improved focus and effort. And my room has never been cleaner! I did everything I could to prove I was responsible enough. Finally, the big day came around - my 10th birthday! As soon as I blew out the candles on my cake, I asked my parents if we could go to the animal shelter to pick up a volunteer application. They smiled from ear to ear and said they were proud of my determination. I was over the moon! The next weekend, we went to the shelter. The volunteers were so nice and friendly. They gave me the paperwork and explained that I would need to attend an orientation beforebeing able to start volunteering. I was a little nervous but still very excited! In the application packet, there were essays from other kids my age about why they wanted to volunteer. Reading their stories inspired me. Like me, many of them loved animals and wanted to help make the dogs' and cats' lives better while they waited to find their forever homes. One of the essays that really stuck with me was from a girl named Lily. She wrote about how her family had adopted their dog Charlie from the shelter when she was just a baby. For the first few years, Charlie was very scared and shy. But with lots of patience, love and training, he came out of his shell and became the happiest, most loyal pup. Lily said she wanted to volunteer to help other dogs like Charlie feel comfortable and learn to trust humans again after being abandoned or mistreated. It made me realize that as much as I'll be helping the animals, they'll probably help me too by teaching me really important life lessons. After reading those inspiring words from kids my age, I grabbed a pencil and got to work on my own essay. I poured my heart into explaining why I would be a good volunteer and how much it means to me to care for those sweet animals. I thought alot about my kindergarten teacher Miss Barnes' philosophy: "Be a friend to every person and creature you meet." I want to live by those words.I'm going to work as hard as I can to be the best volunteer I can be. The dogs and cats at the shelter need me, and I need them too. We can learn from each other and look out for one another. It will be a lot of responsibility, but I'm ready. My parents raised me to be a caring, responsible kid who helps others whenever possible. Getting to volunteer and put that into action is my dream come true!I can't wait to go to the orientation and officially start volunteering. I'll get to walk the dogs, scoop litter boxes, hand out treats, and most importantly, shower those precious animals with love and affection while they await their furr-ever families. It makes me smile just thinking about it! I have so much love in my heart to give. And I know the dogs and cats will give me just as much love back, if not more.Being around animals has always made me happy. They depend篇5Title: Why I Want to Be a VolunteerHi there! My name is Jamie, and I'm 10 years old. I go to Oakwood Elementary School, and I love it there. My favorite subjects are science and art because I like learning about how things work and getting creative with colors and materials. This summer, I really want to be a volunteer. Being a volunteer means helping others without getting paid. I think it's important to volunteer because it makes the world a better place. There are so many people and animals who need our help! One reason I want to volunteer is that I love animals so much. We have a dog named Rufus, and he's my best furry friend. I feed him, walk him, brush him, and play fetch with him every day. Rufus brings me so much happiness! I wish all animals could have loving homes like Rufus does. That's why I want to volunteer at our local animal shelter. I can help feed the cats and dogs, clean their cages, and show them affection. Maybe I can even help find some of them new families to adopt them! How cool would that be?Another reason I want to volunteer is to help other kids who aren't as fortunate as me. My parents work hard, but we have a nice house, plenty of food, and all the clothes and toys I need. But some kids don't have homes or families who can give them everything they need. I want to volunteer at an after-schoolprogram or summer camp for underprivileged kids. I can help them with their homework, read books together, play games and sports, and just be a friendly face. All kids deserve to feel cared for and have fun!I'm also really interested in volunteering at a retirement home. My grandparents live far away, so I don't get to see them very often. But I love spending time with older people and hearing their stories about what life was like when they were young. Elderly people can feel lonely sometimes, so I want to cheer them up by playing games, looking at old photos with them, or just chatting about their lives. I can even put on little talent shows of singing, dancing, or magic tricks to entertain them! Volunteering at a retirement home will let me make some new older friends. No matter where I volunteer, I know it will be hard work. Volunteering means giving up my free time to help others instead of playing video games or watching TV. It will be tiring. But I'm ready to work hard because making others happy makes me happy too! Volunteering teaches kids like me to be generous, compassionate, and hard-working.My parents and teachers are proud of me for wanting to volunteer this summer. They know I'm a caring, responsible kidwho can handle it. I'm going to volunteer as much as I can because there are so many great causes that need help. Volunteering will make me feel good about myself and teach me amazing life lessons. Who knows – maybe volunteering will inspire me to have a career helping others when I grow up, like being a teacher, nurse, or social worker! For now, I'm just excited to get started making my community and the world a little bit better. What do you think? Does volunteering sound fun to you too? Let me know if you'd like to volunteer with me this summer. Two volunteers are better than one!篇6My Dream to Be a VolunteerHello, my name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I'm writing to you today because I really want to become a volunteer. Ever since I was a little girl, I've always loved helping others. It makes me feel so good inside to do kind things for people in need.Last year, my mom took me to volunteer at a homeless shelter serving Thanksgiving dinner. I'll never forget the smiles on people's faces as we handed them their plates piled high with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. An elderlywoman even gave me a big hug and said "God bless you, little one." That hug just warmed my heart. Seeing how happy we made those folks, if only for a few hours, showed me the real power of volunteering. At school, I try to be a volunteer whenever I can too. I love raising my hand to help my teacher hand out papers or run little errands for her. Sometimes she'll let me be a classroom helper and tutor the younger kids who are having trouble with their math or reading. It makes me feel so proud when I can explain something in a way that finally makes it click for them. Their bright smiles are my biggest reward.I also really enjoy volunteering for school fundraisers and bake sales. Last month, our class did a huge candy sale to raise money for new playground equipment. I spent weeks after school helping to sort, box and label all the chocolates, lollipops and other sweets. My small hands were perfect for tying the pretty bows on the treat boxes too! On sale day, I set up my little booth and worked it all day long with a big grin, trying my best to sell as much as I could. We raised over 1,000 which is just awesome!Outside of school, my favorite place to volunteer is at the local animal shelter. I just love love love all the homeless dogsand cats there. It breaks my heart thinking they don't have a warm, loving family to call their own. So whenever I can, I go and spend hours just playing with them, brushing them, walking them around, and most importantly, giving them cuddles and kisses galore! The shelter staff says the animals seem so much happier and more adoptable after getting some one-on-one attention. I sure hope so, because they all deserve a forever home.I know I'm just a kid, but I'm wise enough to see that there'sa whole world of people, animals and communities out there that need a helping hand. I may be little, but if you let me volunteer, I'll show you how big of a difference my caring heart and eager spirit can make. I'm determined to change the world for the better, one good deed at a time! Pretty please let me be a volunteer?。

做志愿者的自荐信英语作文100字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Being a Volunteer: A Little Helper's Big AdventuresHi there! My name is Timmy, and I'm a 10-year-old kid who loves helping others. Recently, I had the chance to be a volunteer, and let me tell you, it was the most fun and rewarding experience ever!It all started when my teacher, Mrs. Johnson, told us about a local animal shelter that needed volunteers to help take care of the furry friends there. I've always loved animals, so I immediately raised my hand and said, "Sign me up, Mrs. Johnson!" She smiled and told me to get my parents' permission first. When I got home, I excitedly told my mom and dad about the opportunity. They were a little hesitant at first, but after I promised to be responsible and follow all the rules, they agreed to let me volunteer. The next Saturday, my dad drove me to the animal shelter, and I couldn't wait to get started. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the most adorable meows and barks! A friendly lady named Sarah, who worked there, showed me around and explained my duties. My first task was to help clean the kennels and cages. It wasn't the most glamorous job, but I didn't mind at all. I wanted to make sure the animals had a clean and cozy place to stay. After that, I got to help feed the dogs and cats. Oh, how they gobbled up their food! It was so cute watching them eat.But my favorite part was getting to play with the animals. I spent hours cuddling with the kittens and playing fetch with the dogs. It was amazing to see how happy and excited they got when I gave them attention and affection. I even taught a few of them some tricks! One day, a family came in looking to adopt a pet. Sarah asked me to help introduce them to some of the animals. I felt like a real pro as I showed them around and told them about each animal's personality. In the end, they fell in love with a sweet little puppy named Buddy, and I couldn't have been more thrilled for him to find a forever home.Being a volunteer at the animal shelter wasn't just about helping the animals, though. It was also about learning valuable lessons. I learned the importance of responsibility, as I had to make sure I showed up on time and completed my tasks diligently. I also learned about empathy and compassion, as I saw how much love and care these animals needed. But most importantly, I learned the joy of giving back to my community. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the animals and the families who adopted them made all the hard work worth it. I felt like I was making a real difference, and that feeling was priceless. My time as a volunteer at the animal shelter was truly unforgettable. It taught me that no matter how small or young you are, you can still make a big impact in the world. All it takes is a little bit of kindness, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. So, if you ever get the chance to be a volunteer, don't hesitate! It's an opportunity to learn, grow, and make the world a better place, one small act of kindness at a time. Who knows, you might even make some furry new friends along the way!篇2My Volunteer DreamsHello! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I really, really want to be a volunteer. I think volunteering is super important and can make the world a better place. Here's why I would be a great volunteer and why you should pick me!First of all, I care a whole lot about helping others. Whenever I see someone struggling with something, I always try my best to lend a hand. Like this one time, my little brother was having trouble tying his shoelaces. I showed him the "bunny ears" trick and he got it right away! He was so happy and gave me a big hug. Making others happy makes me even happier.I'm also a very hard worker who never gives up easily. Last year in school, we had this huge art project where we had to make sculptures out of recycled materials. It was really difficult collecting all the bottles, cans and cardboard. But I kept at it every day after school and on weekends until I had enough supplies. My sculpture of a rocket ship turned out awesome and I got an A+!Helping the environment is another big passion of mine. At home, I always make sure to turn off lights when I leave a room. I cut up tons of plastic rings from soda holders so animals don't get trapped in them. And I started a compost bin in our backyard for fruit and veggie scraps. My parents were so proud of me! If Iwas a volunteer, I would love to participate in park clean-ups, tree plantings and teaching others about reducing waste. What else makes me a prime candidate? I'm a total people person who gets along with everyone! At recess, I make sure to include all my classmates when we play games. I hate seeing anyone left out feeling sad on the sidelines. I'm also really good at resolving conflicts using myWords Instead of Hands skills I learned about. Whenever two of my friends are arguing, I step in to have them talk it out calmly.I'm responsible, mature for my age, and always follow rules and directions to a T. My teachers are constantly praising me for completing assignments on time and double checking my work. I would take any volunteer duties extremely seriously and give 110% effort.Another skill I have is public speaking. I'm never afraid to voice my thoughts in class, present book reports, or speak in front of large groups. I recently gave a speech at our school assembly about the importance of kindness that had everyone cheering! As a volunteer, I could confidently give presentationsto spread awareness about important causes.I'm also fluent in two languages - English and Spanish. I could easily communicate with and assist Spanish speakers ifneeded. My Spanish skills would open up more volunteer opportunities to help even more people. Most importantly, I have a heart of gold. I care deeply about making a positive difference in my community and the world. Whenever I see someone struggling or behanded, it makes me sad inside. Like when I witnessed an older man drop his groceries, and nobody stopped to help him pick them up. I rushed right over to gather up all his cans and boxes. He shakily said "Gracias, pequeña señorita" with the biggest smile. Experiences like that motivate me to spend my life giving back however I can.In conclusion, I would make an awesome volunteer because I'm caring, hard-working, environmentally conscious, apeople-person, responsible, an engaging speaker, bilingual, and most importantly - I have a driving passion to help others. Pretty篇3Dear Volunteer Coordinator,My name is Timmy and I am 10 years old. I really want to be a volunteer at the animal shelter because I love animals so much!I think I would be a great volunteer helper. Here are some reasons why you should pick me:First of all, I am very responsible. My parents have taught me to always do my chores and homework without them reminding me. I make my bed every morning, feed my dog Buddy, and clean up my room without being asked. I know how important it is to be responsible, especially when taking care of animals who can't take care of themselves. You can count on me to show up on time and do all my volunteer duties.Secondly, I am very gentle and caring. I've had my dog Buddy since I was a baby, so I've grown up knowing how to be very gentle with animals. I never pull his tail or ears, and I'm always so careful when I pick him up or give him hugs so I don't squeeze too hard. I know that the animals at the shelter may be scared or have been mistreated, so I will be extra gentle and make them feel safe and loved. I'll give them all the cuddles they want!Another reason I'll be a good volunteer is that I'm not afraid of hard work. My dad owns a farm, so I've been helping out and doing chores since I could walk. I'm used to scooping up animal poop, carrying heavy feed bags, and cleaning out stalls and pens.I know the animal shelter pens and kennels have to be cleaned a lot, and I'm totally fine with doing that messy work. Doesn't bother me one bit!I also really love learning new things. Whenever we go on field trips at school, I ask the guides a million questions because I want to learn as much as I can. I'll listen very carefully to all the training you provide and study really hard so I can be the best pet pal possible. I'll come prepared to learn all about how to properly care for the different kinds of animals. Most importantly, I have a huge heart for animals that don't have families to love them. It makes me so sad when I see stories on the news about neglected or abused pets. Every animal deserves a safe, happy home with people who care about them. Until they find their forever families, I want to help give the shelter animals love, attention, playtime, cuddles, and let them know they're wonderful. I may be just a kid, but I'll work my hardest to make them feel loved.I know I'm young, but I'm mature for my age and have lots of experience with animals already. I'm willing to volunteer as many hours as you'll allow - after school, weekends, holiday breaks from school, you name it! The animal shelter is my top choice for community service because I just love creatures so much. I've been begging my parents to get me another pet for years, but they keep saying no, so caring for the shelter animals will help fill that void in my heart. Please consider me for a volunteer position. I promise I will be the hardest worker, most dependable and loving friend to those animals while they're stuck in the shelter awaiting adoption. They need kids like me to make their lives a little bit better until they find their forever homes. I'm looking forward to your response!Sincerely,Timmy篇4A Letter Recommending Myself as a VolunteerDear Volunteer Coordinator,My name is Timmy and I am 8 years old. I really want to be a volunteer for your organization because I love helping people and making the world a little bit better. I may be just a kid, but I have a huge heart and I'm ready to work hard!First off, you should pick me because I'm super responsible. My mom says I'm the most responsible 8-year-old she knows. I always remember to make my bed, brush my teeth, and do my homework without being reminded a million times. I'll show upon time and do whatever tasks you give me without complaining. You can count on me!I'm also really good at following directions. At school, I listen carefully whenever my teacher gives instructions and I make sure I understand before starting an assignment. I don't goof around or get distracted easily. I'll pay close attention so I can do an awesome job as a volunteer.Another reason I'll be an great volunteer is because I'm friendly and love meeting new people. I always smile and say hi to everyone I see. I can make friends really easily and cheer up anyone who is feeling sad or grumpy. With my positive attitude, I'll make sure everyone at your organization is having a good day!Plus, I have tons of energy! I can run around playing tag for hours and hours without getting tired. I'll bring that same energy and enthusiasm to whatever volunteering jobs need to be done. No task will be too big or too tiring for me to tackle with a smile.Speaking of energy, I'm also really strong for my age. I help my dad carry in all the heavy groceries without a problem. I'll be able to lift and move things as part of my volunteer duties, no sweat! Grown-ups are always commenting on how strong I am.In addition to being strong, I'm also a really hard worker. I put in 100% effort on every single thing I do, whether it's my chores at home or a project at school. I don't slack off or look for shortcuts. Whatever volunteer work needs to be done, you can be sure I'll stay focused and work as hard as I can until the job is finished perfectly. But what really makes me special is my caring heart. Whenever I see someone struggling with a task or looking sad, I always offer to lend a hand or give them a big hug. I'm a great listener and I go out of my way to be kind to everyone, even kids I don't really know that well. As a volunteer, I'll treat every person I meet with patience and compassion.I also really care about making the world a better place for animals and the environment. I always remember to recycle and turn off lights when I leave a room. I reuse things instead of throwing them away when I can. And I love taking care of my dog Rufus and all of the class pets at school. I'll put that same care into keeping your organization's spaces clean and environmentally-friendly.Lastly, volunteering is really important to me because I want to be helpful to others, just like the grown-ups in my life have been helpful to me. My parents, teachers, doctors, and otheradults are always doing things to keep me safe, healthy, and happy. Being a volunteer will allow me to finally start giving back by helping people myself. It would make me feel so proud! So in summary, you should definitely pick me to be a volunteer because I'm responsible, follow directions well, have a positive friendly attitude, am energetic and strong, work really hard, care about people and the environment, and genuinely want to make a difference. I'm just a kid, but I'll pour my heart into this opportunity!Thank you so much for considering me. I look forward to hearing from you soon!Sincerely,Timmy篇5Dear Volunteer Coordinator,My name is Jamie and I am 10 years old. I really want to be a volunteer at the animal shelter because I love animals so much! I think I would be a great volunteer helper.I have two dogs at home, Rufus and Coco. Rufus is an old brown labrador and Coco is a little white poodle mix. I help takecare of them every day by feeding them, giving them fresh water, playing fetch, and taking them on walks. I know how to be very gentle with animals and how to make them feel safe and loved. At school, I got an award last year for being the "Best Pet Caretaker" when we had a class pet guinea pig. I made sure to carefully hold him, give him food and water, and clean out his cage every few days. Mrs. Johnson said I was really responsible. I even trained the guinea pig to come when I called his name!I also really like helping others. Every weekend, I go with my mom to volunteer at a food pantry packing boxes of food for families who don't have enough to eat. I enjoy putting all the cans and packages together and making sure everything looks nice. The ladies there say I work really hard.At home, I help out a lot too. I make my bed every morning, tidy up my room, set the table for dinner, load the dishwasher, and take out the recycling bins to the curb. My parents say I am a very helpful kid and that I don't need to be asked twice to do my chores. I always try my best to be a good listener.Working at the animal shelter sounds like so much fun! I could help clean out the kennels and beds, feed the dogs and cats, give them water, and play with them to keep them happy. I am really strong for my age so I can definitely hold those bigfood bags. I will be very gentle and make all the animals feel safe and loved, just like my pets at home.I know I'm just a kid, but I am a hard worker who really cares about animals. I never complain about chores and I'm always eager to help out however I can. The animal shelter is my absolute dream place to volunteer! I promise I will be the best volunteer ever. Pretty please let me help take care of all those sweet dogs and cats?Thank you for considering me!Sincerely,Jamie篇6Dear Volunteer Coordinator,My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I really want to be a volunteer at the animal shelter because I love animals so much! I think it would be super fun to help take care of the dogs and cats. I'm really good with pets too.At my house, I have a dog named Rufus who is a golden retriever. He's my best friend and I take very good care of him. Every morning I wake up early to feed Rufus his breakfast andgive him fresh water. After school, I always take him for a walk around the neighborhood. On weekends, I give him a bath and brush his fur to keep him looking spiffy. Rufus is so well behaved because I trained him using the tips I learned in my dog obedience class. He can sit, stay, shake, roll over, and even fetch your slippers!I'm also really good at playing with Rufus and keeping him entertained. We play fetch in the backyard and I run around with him. Sometimes we do agility courses that I set up with boxes and hula hoops. Rufus gets lots of exercise and has so much fun.I even taught him some new tricks like waving hello, giving high fives, and playing dead. I give Rufus lots of treats and belly rubs when he does a trick right. In addition to my dog Rufus, I really love all kinds of animals. At my grandmother's house, she has two cats named Mittens and Socks. They're super cute and fluffy. Whenever I go over, I like to brush them, pet them, and play with the laser pointer to keep them active. One time Mittens got stuck up in the tree and I had to get a ladder to coax her down. I was so gentle with her and gave her treats to make her feel better after being scared up in the branches.I'm also really good at being nurturing and compassionate, which are important qualities for an animal shelter volunteer. Last summer at camp, we had to take care of classroom pets like guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. I was chosen as the pet caretaker for our class! Every day I made sure the pets had fresh food, water, and clean bedding. On weekends when everyone else went home, I came in to take care of the pets so they wouldn't be alone. The teachers told my parents what a responsible pet-sitter I was.I have other skills that would make me a awesome volunteer too. In school, I get good grades and I'm a good listener who follows directions carefully. I'm also superstrong from all my sports like soccer, baseball, and swimming. That means I can help carry heavy pet food bags or supplies if needed. I'm not afraid of hard work either. Every Saturday I do a lot of chores around the house like making my bed, vacuuming, taking out the trash, and helping in the garden. My parents say I'm extremely helpful and have a great work ethic.Being an animal shelter volunteer would be the best thing ever! I'll get to hang out with cute puppies and kittens all day. I can put my pet experience to good use by playing with the animals, feeding them, cleaning up after them, and giving themlots of love and cuddles. I'll be sure to follow all the rules and do whatever chores or tasks you need me to do. I promise to be a hard worker who treats the animals with kindness. I'm covering for petsitting jobs and walking dogs already, so this would be perfect for me!I'm availavle after school and on weekends. I'll bring my own smock/apron to wear while volunteering and non-slip shoes for safety. I have my own supplies like poop bags for dog walking too. I've already gotten all my vaccinations the shelter needs. My parents are 100% committed to providing transportation for my shifts. Please let me be a youth volunteer - I'll be the best one you've ever had! I'm counting the days until I can get started. Thanks for your consideration!Sincerely,Timmy。
