Unit 3 My school calendar PB Read and write 教案教学背景：本单元主要由三部分内容组成：第一部分介绍了学校里的日常活动和时间表，第二部分介绍了一所学校的校历，包括各种假期和活动，第三部分是学习如何说和写日期。
本节课将重点让学生掌握校历的相关内容，围绕着“我的学校日历”该话题展开教学。
教学目标：1、能够听说、认读本单元中的生词和短语，如：calendar, activities, event, holiday等；2、能学会校历、日期的表达形式，如：MM/DD/YY、Month Day，Year等；3、能够遵循指令写出个人活动安排，如在校历中找到某一天的节日和活动，用英语写下自己的活动安排。
教学过程：Step 1：Warm-up（1）Greeting教师向学生问好，感性渲染课堂氛围（2）Review要求学生快速回答你有多长时间没有上过学？他们的答案可以引导学生研究“校历/天数”等相关话题，然后可以在课堂上展示一些正确的答案，让学生觉得回到学校是多么有趣。
Step 2：Pre-reading（1）Vocabulary教师播放学生们熟悉的校歌，让学生猜词填空，再配合单词卡片的展示，让学生清晰的了解所需要的字词。
（2）Prediction教师向学生介绍学校日历的概念，让学生想象一个学校日历里面可能包含了什么内容，如：活动日程表、赛事日程表等等，并让学生在小组内讨论，逐渐引导学生对学校日历日程表的探究Step 3：While-reading（1）Reading comprehension教师向学生展示学生们熟悉的一份校历，让学生先自主阅读，并从中提取有用信息，让学生回答问题：（a）How many months are there in this school calendar?（b）Is there any holiday in September?（c）What is the event in October?（d）When is Halloween in this school calendar?（e）When is the Spring Festival?（f）When is the last day of school?（2）Vocabulary building教师在学生读完校历后请学生找出高亮标记的生词和短语，向学生解释其含义，加深学生对单词和短语的记忆。

Once the students are comfortable with the vocabulary, the teacher gives them different worksheets to practice writing short sentences using the new words or sequencing events in a school calendar.Step 4: Pair work (15 minutes)Teacher divides the class into pairs and has each student read aloud the paragraph that they wrote. They then compare sentences to ensurethat they have used the correct vocabulary and sentence structures.After that, they work together to sequence events in a school calendar and write short sentences about them.Step 5: Group work (15 minutes)Teacher divides the class into small groups and gives them a task to design an imaginary school calendar. 四、教学过程1. Warming Up教师播放学校活动视频，让学生观看，同时拓展学生关于学校活动的知识面，引发学生兴趣。
2. Pre-Listening教师将学生分组，通过图片及图片下的活动名称提醒学生该活动所在的月份，让学生简单地描述一下自己所了解的与该活动相关的事情。
巩固并拓宽学生对单元所学内容的认识。
3. Listening教师放音频，播放该活动的相关信息，让学生用肢体语言或句子简述。
4. Post-Listening1.学生根据所学材料，把活动按照时间顺序重新排列。
Unit 3 My school calendar 教学设计（Readand write）一、教学内容分析本节课选自由人民教育出版社出版的《义务教育科教书•英语（PEP）》五年级下册第三单元My school calendar B部分的Read and write. 该Read and write 的主体部分是Wu Yifan和Robin准备的一份关于复活节派对的邀请函。
这个Read and write分为读、写两个部分：第一部分要求学生能够在图片的帮助下读懂邀请函，完成读后句子正误判断的活动；第二部分为语境下的书写活动：要求学生能够参考例词和运用核心句型书写一份邀请函。
本单元的主题是校历，主要要涉及不同节日所在的月份，而在Read and write 中的Easter Day是西方的节日，故本课时除了让学生关注邀请函的文体格式外，还实现节日文化意识的渗透。
二、学生情况分析本课的教学对象是五年级的学生，在进入本课学习之前，学生已经学习了12个月份的单词、中西传统节日名称和节日活动短语，以及核心句型：We will …五年级的学生活泼好动，思维活跃，乐于模仿和参与活动，三、教学目标通过借助图片、跳读和细读等方法读懂邀请函、理解文章意思；通过模仿录音，以正确的语音语调朗读文章；并根据所设定的情景，参考例词，运用核心句子I’ll …制作节日邀请函。
四、教学重难点1. 教学重点：能够借助图片正确理解roll Easter eggs,look for eggs,eat chocolate eggs,meet the Easter Bunny以及邀请函的内容，并完成相应的理解练习并在有意义的语境中书写句子We will …2. 教学难点：能够根据设定情景制作一封邀请函。
五、教学过程Step 1 Warm-up1. Free talk教师与学生进行日常交流，讨论天气、当下的月份和季节，以及询问学生最喜欢的月份及原因。
