Step 1 Analysis of the student. After a long holiday, the Ss came back to school. Now,

the Ss have a new school year, so many Ss have new

plans about their learning. And they have a new subject.

Step 2 Lead in. 1. Greet the students in English and make sure they can

response correctly.

Do the duty report: a student on duty can say

whatever he/she likes to say.

2. Ask some Ss talk about the following questions:

How do you like the first day of a new term? Do

you have any new subjects? Do you think you will like them? How many new classmates do you have? May I ask you a question?
