1. I remember the day I first stood on the stage, my

heart pounding in my chest, my hands trembling with nerves.

But as soon as I started speaking, all my fear melted away,

and I felt a rush of excitement and confidence.

2. The words flowed from my mouth like a river,

carrying with them the emotions and stories I wanted to

share with the audience. Each sentence was like a

brushstroke on a canvas, painting a vivid picture in the

minds of those listening.

3. The applause at the end of my performance was like

music to my ears, a validation of all the hard work and

dedication I had put into preparing for this moment. It was

a feeling of accomplishment unlike any other.

4. I have always believed in the power of words to

inspire, to move, and to change the world. And in that

moment on stage, I felt like I had tapped into that power, like I was part of something much bigger than myself.

5. So I will continue to stand on stages, to share my

words and my stories with anyone who will listen. Because I

believe that through the spoken word, we can connect, we

can heal, and we can make a difference in the world.

tax" on automobiles. Some people hold that it's an effective way to control cars and

reduce pollution. In contrast,others think that reducing car sales by taxing is unwise

From my pespective, I strongly endorse view of the former, which is levying tax on

automobiles is essential and effective.

The reason why I am in favor of view of the former can be listed as follow.

First of all, if the government don't take some measures to human's benefit, we can't

pay high and close attention to the pollution around us. Because taxation is directly

related to people's interests,we will gradually reduce pollution in order to preserve

As is known to us all ,life is like a Pandora’s box ,it contains

many colorful things ,challenges and different difficulties.So what

kind of attitude should we have when facing with these

difficulties? The answer is “To be confident.”

There are many factors that can contribute to a person’s

our school is organizing a Poetry Recitation Competition for high school students. This

Competition Format。

The Poetry Recitation Competition will be held in the school auditorium on the 15th

of May. Participants will be required to recite a poem of their choice in English. The

poems can be from any genre or time period, allowing students to explore a wide range of
