一、教材分析

1本单元出自人教版九年级全一册，围绕protecting the environment的话题展开各种教学活动。主要帮助学生通过各种活动，运用已学知识来谈论environmental protection,使我们的地球环境更加美好。

2本节课Rethink, Reuse,Recycle!为section B中的阅读课。前面section A已经学过kinds of pollution and ways of solving these problems.此节课进一步讨论保护环境的一种措施：节俭，用自己智慧变废为宝。

二、学生分析

1本节课话题贴近生活实际，与人们生活息息相关；而且在学习完section A的基础上，学生积累了大量protecting environment的素材，他们有话可说，并愿意说。

2语言知识方面，大部分学生已经掌握了表达自己观点的句式结构：we

should...we’d better...It’s a good way ...

3技能方面，学生已经学过skimming. Scanning, predicting等阅读技能。

三、教学目标

教材分析

本单元带领学生了解了一些有关地球污染，动物濒危等问题。并且教给大家如何保护濒危动物，如何通过回收利用等方式来保护地球。本单元主要复习语法内容为情态动词和动词形式变化。本课主要带领大家进行语法复习，巩固语法知识。
